Reidsville should be fired up after losing to East Surry last week and MA is bringing an extremely young team in the middle of a rebuilding year to town. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. The Bears will bring the best running back the rams will see this year , yes not just regular season but playoffs as well. A hell of a kicker who puts it out of the end zone and who is good from 40 -45 yards out. But outside of that a roster that’s 95 percent under class men and 75 percent sophomore freshman based. A rivalry renewed, and one that I hope is played every year for many years to come. High School football needs history like the one that is shared between these two. I see a score of 42 14 rams , what’s everybody else see.

Mt Airy is better than some give credit, and I see them winning if the Rams defense cant get their head out from their hind parts.
I wouldn’t go that far. Rams won’t lose another reg season game. The whole defense and coaches need to make adjustments for us to win states. Gosnell should have been doubled when single coverage didn’t work last week for example
Best RB you will face all year? Very well might be but he has to be one hell of a player to be better than WRHs Kanye Roberts (sophmore) and senior Cam Dalrymple (Naval Academy commit) both had over 200 yards rushing against WF.
If the game is going to be a blowout, why would that be a good game. Why renew the series if it is going to be blowout every year in Reidsville favor. How about playing someone who might give you a good game.
It deff won’t be a blowout every year , I see a 50/50 split after 10 or 12 years. Kinda like Kings mountain or Burns for Shelby . Just saying

Smith is a good RB. But he isn’t even the best RB in the area. I’d be hard pressed to believe he “will be the best back the Rams will see all year including the playoffs.” The Bears best two players are seniors. Next year might be a bigger struggle for them. Rams will out-athlete the. Ears at every position. There’s no Boaz or Gosnell on that side of the field.
I agree with the fact that the bears don’t have a Boaz or Gosnell and yes the Bears do lose smith and Smith. So we do agree on that , but I will say that there is plenty of talent coming from down stream. There’s some pretty big things happening within the program that you don’t see on here . I will leave it at this , next year will be MUCH IMPROVED, the next 4 after that will be special

If Reidsville dont tighten up their defense it could be another Scoring battle. They gave up 400 yards to EG would have been more if their RB didn’t get hurt (9 carries for 97 yards in the 1st qtr) and almost 600 yards to ES. I still don’t understand why they didn’t double team Gosnell. But thats the past. These last 2 weeks Reidsville weakness has been exploited. they have to have a good showing this Friday on defense because their weak conference Is going to give the defense a false sense of security.
Conference is better than it usually is, but you're right it will provide that sense of security.
I think we could have put another d1 athlete in Edwards on defense more and doubled gosnell like you said. We need to get Strange on the field even if its d line. We need to move one of those linebackers to dl and see if it helps with a pass rush.
Really missing Trell on defense and some of the d lineman from last year.
I don't care how many RBs we stop or dont stop. Our troubles are when any qb has any accuracy we cant stop the pass. So yes rams will stop everyone here on out until we face another dominant passing team. And we cant practice against our bc our top wr goes both ways.

..I listen to most of the game Friday night it had to be one of the best games I've ever listened too or witnessed for just a fan that really didnt care who won. it was a classic..one team had to lose on the scoreboard, but there was not one loser that stepped on that field Friday night.That was what a real football game looks like.I for one want to thank the broadcast crew from the Reidsville Rams Network for the great job they did calling the game, it felt just like I was there watching .In the long run this might be the best thing to happen to the Rams..It's like the old ball coach said when your on top everybody's gunning for you, and sooner or later somebody will just beat you..That's just how it works..The Rams will be fine.

I heard from a couple of players that they finally got a new defense scheme and strange from Eden NC will finally be playing. I was wondering why he wasn't playing at first but it should be interesting what he brings for the rams on the defensive side it should be a solid game.
They have the kid from mcmichael and strange playing defensive end / stand up linebacker roles I heard & I got to talk to some of the staff and they said their very impressed in practice so we will see tonight
That kid from mcmicheal will surprise people. I've seen some film on him. He will be in the mix next year for the starting running back role and may start both ways next year.
I like Stranges height and weight, def needed.

Well, I know who the players are in the secondary, but who are you referring to when you write "half of the linebackers". Since the Rams normally only play three linebackers I am confused as to how to figure out who the half player might be.
Then again, I am easily confused as my wife points out constantly.

The good news is looks like moving some guys around helped out as they let MA score just 1 TD.

Actually one of the linebackers plays as a stand up defensive end.
Unfortunately all of the officials calls against the Rams on the TD drive were correct. Rams fans were furious but mistaken. On the pass play #6 grabbed the jersey of the tight end as he was breaking free.
