Fish and Wildlife has said it wasn't any kind of cat. Just shows how stupid most people on the paddock are.
Especially the guy whose friends, buddies grandfather in Colorado saw a picture. :joy:

Fish and wildlife services lie all the time. In national parks, they lie more than politicians.

That’s 2 different Animals in the pics, the one walking away is very poor and ragged.

The one at a distance is in good health.

The one going away looks like a yellow lab. It looks like folded over dog ears, not cat ears.
Those animals look like any dead deer, cow etc that dies inthe wild. They get eaten and chewed on by everything from coyotes to buzzards. The question is how did they die.
Fish and wildlife said all three were shot, no way they miss evaluate 3 animals.

All I know is it’s getting thick down there. Those photos are legit (although the second cat picture is the only one I haven’t seen).

Other than that second big cat pic, the most compelling photo is the one with paw track right next to the dead pony.

Either way, you got the local sherif literally calling ******** on the DKFW. And you got the DKFW now changing their story 3 separate times (first it was no human involvement, then it was they were shot, and now it’s they were stabbed).

Plus, if your sheriff goes by the name ‘Frog’, you gotta believe he knows what he’s talking about.

And, yes, that dude reporting on this is doing a fine job. Poor Monroe countians don’t know what the hell to think right now.

That’s not what they are saying now. They’ve now changed their story 3 times. It’s definitely weird and not doing that County any favors.

I thought the one walking away was a dog as well. The one at a distance is a Mt Lion, only question is where was that pic taken.

Why would a Mt lion in Monroe County Ky need to kill a horse? Much less 2, there is deer and Turkey everywhere.

That first pic is from Monroe county. Personally, I thought it looked like a bobcat.

That second pic looks like a mt lion to me, but I hadn’t seen that one before.

It wasn’t ate on like that over night. A couple days? Yeah no doubt. No gun did that my hickness leads me to believe those are claw marks especially on the less damaged side of the horse

The owners have said that the fish and wildlife didn’t even take samples all they did was take pictures. No hair samples no swipes of the injuries. I don’t know what it’s going to take for some people to believe it’s a mountain lion or some sort of cougar

I’m very skeptical of **** like this usually, but that track is very hard to explain. That’s some next level deception if all of this is faked/human caused. Especially for Monroe co.

Whether a big cat did this or not, if they aren’t in KY now in limited numbers, they will be sooner rather than later.
The reason they disappeared is because their prey disappeared. There is an over abundance of it now, deer, turkey, coyotes, coons, possum. There is a growing population of cougar in Missouri, TN has already seen them.

When did deer, turkey, coyotes, coons, and possum disappear from Kentucky?

And when did they come back?

And why?

Being close to the water I'm thinking it might have been a alligator snapping turtle or piranhas.

"Another development of note: One of the dogs — a pitbull/boxer mix — survived the attack with a fewwounds".

Once the pitbull fully recovers, hopefully he can give a detailed description of his attacker to authorities.

Cougar in the second pic. Seen them up close. That tail is too wide and circular to be a dog. It’s gait is more like a large cat than a dog too. The horses don’t look like puma kills. Looks like either alien cattle mutalation or the animal died and coyotes went in to clean up the mess.

First pic looks like a clear cougar to me. At first I thought the second one might be but after looking closer I think it’s a dog. The tail doesn’t look long enough to be a mountain lion and the hind legs look like dog legs.

Regardless, the fish and wildlife are FOS and hiding something.
