You want evidence, Robert? How about this pic from Owsley County taken by my cousin just this past winter? Is that a Doberman, rob? Or perhaps a Great Dane??? Nope.

Mountain. Lion.

A mountain lion just nearly killed a hiker in Colorado yesterday. Park Rangers pursuing it said it is headed east and expected to be in Kentucky by the weekend.

That looks like a large house cat but the video quality is too sht, certainly not a bobcat. Why didn’t she call a cameraman to get a quality shot, not a good look for a news station.

House cats aren't anywhere near that size, and if they are then they look like jabba the hut and not moving thru the grass like that one.

I just want to compliment the poster showing Rob in N. Ky. killing the lion.

I wouldda’ thought it was ********, but you can see the Cincy skyline, so it has to be real!!

And there are big cats in Central Kentucky. Deer body parts are being found well off the ground in trees.

If the lions just visit the state, I wonder what their favorite sights are. I’ve always thought Natural Bridge and My Old Kentucky Home would be well worth the trip, but I wouldn’t walk it.

When did deer, turkey, coyotes, coons, and possum disappear from Kentucky?

And when did they come back?

And why?

Ive talked to many old timers including my grandparents when they were alive who had never seen a coyote before until the 60s. Deer were not around until the late 50s. They are much more common now then when i was a kid. Rabbits were scarce and coon.

Why? Years ago people lived off the land and especially in the great depression. Shot up all the deer where they practically became extinct in parts of the country.

Their have been restocking efforts done all across the southeast and even in the midwest. Used to be elk and bear everywhere but not anymore. Only within the last couple decades have elk been reestablished in small parts of ky.

Have a friend of mine who retired 20 yrs ago from fish and wildlife and he told me of the restocking of deer and the releasing of coyotes into the state.

As far as mountain lions? Ya they are here Ive seen one myself and heard one up close and personal. Prob been here the whole time.

Did the state release them? Did pet owners release them? Did they migrate? Were they always here?

I know an aligator was found on ky lake 2 weeks ago. Not huge by anymeans but big enough to take a plug out of someone.

I live in an area of the country with a known population of mountain lions, yet nobody I know here has seen or heard one.

But it seems practically everybody in Kentucky has seen and/or heard a mountain lion.

Kinda odd how that works.

I'll probably get in trouble for exposing this, but this is an actual photo taken a few winters ago in Northern KY.

This is UKRob 73 and one of his KY Game Warden cronies killing a mountain lion and then covering up the fact that it ever existed.

If you look really closely in the background, there appears to be a black Mt. Lion watching them. Many people think this proves that despite Rob and Big Government's attempts at snuffing them out, Mt. Lions are still thriving in the Bluegrass state.

I am not at all surprised at the recent evidence coming out of Madison County. They are here, people. Spread the word. Fight the cover up.

I can verify legitimacy of this image, clearly taken at overlook in Devou Park, Covington.

You think any Cat with a lick of sense couldn’t get KFC in the foothills of the Smokie Mountains?

But maybe they come for the KFC museum in Corbin!?!

Yes, every year mountain lions make the trek to Corbin to honor the man who made their favorite chicken.

Wife was determi ed we had one living in the woods next tonour farm. Finally saw it. Its a bobcat. Friend in jackson county swears they have seen a black puma down there. Possibility of an actual mt lion puma type being there are the idiots who go get exotic pets. They grow to big and get out or get set loose. Lot more joe exotic types than we realize

Yea, that looks a lot like Mt Vernon.

I kept thinking the kitty would leave if he threw any of the large rocks at it. Kitty looked like a straight up fur demon when it did that little hiss and lunge with front paws move. Ugh. Cats are satan. He finally found a way to scare it away, thankfully. Wonder if he's alive today, though? That demon probably just circled around and stalked him from the high ground, then jumped down right on his jugular.
