Halloween 3
The bad guy wins which makes it great.I hated it as a kid because I watched the whole damn thing assuming Michael Myers was gonna show up. Haven't watched it in 30 years so I can't fairly judge it.
Flash Gordon
H3 is easily in the top half of all the Halloween movies, not sure why it gets bashed all the time. The bad guy wins which makes it great.
Animal House
Gone with the Wind
Got to put "Porky's" in there as well.Caddyshack
Animal House
American Pie
Still funny
That’s why I called Flash Gordon. Stellar cast, great soundtrack, fantastic story line, wall to wall excitement, just about every scene in that movie is memorable. In 400 years humanoid hybrids will still love that movie. Ming top 5 all time villain. We gotta be a bit more creative. Just naming some of the most widely considered greatest films ever made isn’t fun.
Dazed and Confused - timeless soundtrack and ultimate hangout movie. Everyone can relate to it.
Tremors - simple yet a blast. Actual special effects used which still look incredible.
The Thing and They Live - one has gore, isolation, and tension that are hard to beat while the other speaks on consumerism and has a badass street fight that’s entertained generations.
Starship Troopers - too smart for its time, many didn’t understand its satirical nature and completely disregarded it as schlock. It showed a perversion of the military state and the fact that we invaded other planets and not the other way around went over people’s heads.
A Few Good Men
Three best courtroom dramas in no particular order:
A Few Good Men
The Verdict
A Civil Action - which is based on a real case, I later read the book - anyone that thinks that every plaintiff that files a suit gets an easy payday ought to read this one, because it will quickly disabuse you of that notion and gives you the real story of what its like to bring a claim against large well funded defendants
I read the book years ago, prior to the movie. The book was really good, as is the movie.Three best courtroom dramas in no particular order:
