Moving on...looking for legit thoughts

On who returns. My mind has changed as often as a chameleon on a quilt..so who do you truly believe comes back next year?

For me as of today:

I think Noah returns
I now think Chandler returns

I lean towards Oweh returning

I can't get a handle on Garrison...I think he keeps toward leaving.
I think Kriissa is done with college ball.
I believe Perry goes someplace he can compete.

Your thoughts?

I actually think it's pretty easy. We are in great shape compared to many other SEC schools and most P5 schools. There are many who have to build entire rosters.

Noah, 100%
Chandler, 100%
Oweh, 90% (will enter the NBA Draft)
Perry, 90% (he's a Kentucky kid and will likely do year 2 here)
Garrison, 75% (to be fair, he's the type that COULD get paid more, but not guaranteed)

There's nobody else. Three incoming Freshman. Maybe a late fourth recruit (foreign).

Otherwise, 4-5 transfers, depending on how many stay. Done.

Perry should stay with an eye at being a contributor in years 3 and 4. Cameron Mills role.

I want Garrison back.

Hopefully, the others return.

If Chandler comes back and plays his career at UK, I really think he can become a college star. He's showed flashes all season and has the ability to make big time shots.

Oweh can have an AA senior year. I think these are the two biggest returners we need back next year.

Pretty much agree on this. I've been saying that getting Garrison to come back will be huge for us. He's still only a Sophomore and I think the kid has enormous potential. The kid already plays with a high motor (which can't be taught) and is a great defender. Brandon has a decent looking shot and could develop into a potent threat offensively.

Perry is the ONLY one we have a shot at losing. I would add Krissa too, but I thought that was a given.

Garrison has been praised by Coach Pope even when his numbers were su-par
Oweh has EXPLODED in Coach Pope's system, WHY would he even consider another school? He WON'T get drafted.
Chandler is a key piece for the next 3 years, he KNOWS this and Coach Pope LOVES him!!
Noah will be used for the next 3 years and will be a key contributor.

These thoughts may not be legit but here goes anyway:

Krissa will play college basketball next year but not at UK, only because a 6th year senior wouldn't want to spend that senior year on the bench.

Chandler, Noah, Perry, and Oweh will be at UK next year.

I'm not sure about Garrison. Pope is high on him(at least publicly) but he has clearly not been one of our bright spots and I feel like the future would be very limited if he was the starting center next year. I can't see him getting more NIL next year so if he has suitors he might be moving on.

That said, Pope needs to upgrade all of them but Oweh. So, we could see someone like Garrison leave depending on who Pope signs in the portal. Garrison can't be UK's starter next year unless he improves dramatically over the summer.

Garrison isn’t the answer I would like to see someone like Nate Bittle if he entered the portal
