Time to talk Duke in the tourney!

I'm always confident, yes probably to a fault at times. I feel like most are down on our boys and have mailed it in! Let's get fired up, this team is still PLENTY capable of making noise! We have a dynamic scorer, Plumdog gives a chance against ANY big man and our front court depth should have some added confidence. Luke doesn't always shoot a high pct but that kid embraces the moment, he will bring it in the tourney. Jones ankle will have some added rest and we all know he's been down this road. I really like what we bring!!!

I cannot wait to see match ups

Latest Bracketology has us as the 5 seed in UNC's half of the East!!! I would pay for the chance to play them in the tourney as the underdog!!!! You all think UNC would be happy about playing us in the sweet 16???? I think not!!!!

W1 hadnt seen that bracketology but bring it on! The pressure would PURELY be on UNC to take it as this young band of Blue Devils is coming off a natty in a transition type year and its Roys last rodeo IMO!

Before unc would be Maryland. I hate that matchup.

Every other region has a better 4 v. 5 matchup than that one.

I don't think teams from the same conference can meet each other until the regional finals.

I think it's sweet 16 you can play each other.. I think we will be a 4 seed though and I doubt they would put us in Carolinas bracket but I'd actually be happy with it

Pis agreed buddy.No qualms here...I think this team RESTED, would embrace a rubber match!

I might be wrong but I think the only way they try to avoid 2 teams from the same conference playing in the NCAAT is if those 2 teams played each other 3 times during the season but I'm not completely sure

yep, that region has 3 acc teams. I would rather see Duke in the South, or any other region for that matter. I just want to see the Tarholes lose. I really don't have high expectations for the devils this year.

One thing I don't think we've ever seen is a Duke unexpected tourney run. We are generally always a 1 or 2 seed so making the FF isn't a shock. The literally hand full of times we were a 4 or worse, we didnt do well. Maybe this is the one time? UCONN won as 7 seed. Kentucky went to that Final as an 8. Butler back to back as a 5 and 8. Who knows right?

I just want our guys to take advantage of this opportunity to play in this tourney. Play hard and clean. Give it their best. Remember that they are still Duke and have the greatest coach around and have a team full of talent although it is indeed crippled somewhat. Go out there and make some noise. It ain't over till it's over . Greater things have happened before when an under dog wins it all. OFC

I would be shocked if they set it up where Duke and UNC could see each other that early. The committee does try to avoid that. I do think the potential for a Maryland matchup is a near certainty.

If you play a team 3 times, you can't meet until the regional final.

I think their is a stat out there that says the last 2 times Duke was a 4 seed or lower, we have been beaten in the 1st round.

Let's just break that cycle, and I will be happy.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see duke and md as the 4-5 in the same bracket. They'll relish the sheed vs Duke story line, and I think the force that.

Yes they love NCAA storylines and how awesome would that be to put them out of the tournament.

If Chase, and perhaps Obi, give them quality minutes, they certainly can beat anyone. Nothing to lose now, and that's a dangerous thing for the opponents.

Can't overlook any game with the make up if this team.... But I'd take Michigan St in the sweet 16.

Cal as the 4 and MD as the 5 makes a tough region. I'd be annoyed if I was Kansas.
