Has there been chatter about families moving to Indiana or Wisconsin if Illinois doesn’t have a football season? I’ve heard a few people mention it but don’t know if they’re actually serious. Curious to get others thoughts on this topic. I could see people getting an apartment in a neighboring state to be able to play. It’s that important to some families.

Don’t know how a family can make that decision now. Who knows what states will be hot zones 60 days from now.

With that said, a couple months back I heard some of families moving or get this one....having their kid live in an apartment in another state to play and visit them on the weekends during the season.

Still much more transfers of kids going from one nearby school to another...early on a lot of talk about leaving the state and now...not as much.

I think a couple months ago when Indiana was opening sooner then Illinois and Wisconsin won their lawsuit and were able to conduct business as normal their was some chatter but there is no guarantee either of those states are going to have Football. Indiana has taken steps backwards in their reopening...they have goal dates but no guarantees, very risky move financially in this economy to uproot your family or ship off your kid to an unknown school for a three month season unless the situation with him playing in College, D1, on a full scholarship, absolutely demands it. Plus I truly believe if those two states play, we’ll play.

Don’t forgot the power of the upcoming inevitable lawsuit that will come if we don’t play!
