As a kid of the 80s, I remember my family also enjoyed him in Mr. Belvedere. I haven't seen that show in years, but I liked it as a 12-15 year old.

He was once asked how he caught a knuckleball pitcher. He responded that he let the ball hit the ground and then picked it up after the ball stopped rolling.

In his induction into the broadcasters Hall Of Fame at Cooperstown, he said he still felt he should have been inducted as a player.
