There were several sources at the same time that indicated Flood was safe, either all those sources funneled from the same incorrect one, or there was a late change of heart by Barchi and company........

According to the published reports, Barchi had decided to fire Flood when TV and Silencer posted that Flood was staying. They were just wrong.
