MSU vs Illinois

[JerseyCityHawk]

Good game thus far and I truly think (after barfing in my mouth) the Illini might have what it takes to win it all as they’re solid and have some big guys that can shoot… MSU is no slouch either but I am very impressed with Illinois

[HawkBall23]

Fears at it again.

Sticks leg out to trip an ILL player.

[HawkBall23]

Of course they don't call it the right way since its at MSU.

And Izzo was irate because the Illini dared to want the call made.

[Hawksfor3]

I'm hoping Illini win. That way, Sparty can go to Kohl and take all that frustration out on Wisky.

Win-win on that one.

Either F* WISCONSIN!!! loses or Izzo does.

Something to cheer either way.

[Palmerhawk]

High level BB on display.
Good watch.
Benettis good listen.
Illini and mich better get to ff this year, and win the damn thing.

[shrinkhawk]

Sure seemed like Fears stuck his left leg out 'accidentally' earlier again tonite.

Very Grayson Allen-like when these things mysteriously keep happening.

He's gonna do it to the wrong guy here at some point.

[Hawksfor3]

Man! I'm hoping Sparty gets shaved lol.

[Hawksfor3]

Wagler 8 points. 1-10.

[bobchawk]

Hopefully we can get involved in getting some of these euro guys. Maybe try Australia since we have a track with FB

[Hawksfor3]

Real smart Illini. Just let Fears drive uncontested to the rim every play. SMH.

[Outbackbowl2017]

Love hearing MSU fans chant “refs you suck” after how many years of playing tackle football and no foul called on them.

you'd think getting shot in the leg would teach you some life leason?

I'm sure little Tommy will make it out that Fears is the victim in all this and he's such a good young kid.

[Hawksfor3]

As long as Sparty takes care of business at Kohl next, I'm good.

[HawkBall23]

I dislike Illinois MBB a lot, but lord do I hate that little crybaby gremlin Izzo and MSU.

Deserved to lose somehow - ie, ILL makes 3 And1 - after turning over that last inbounds pass.

[HawkBall23]

Maybe its actually possible that Fears didn't deliberately trip the ILL guy in the first half, but after all the replays of how he stuck his leg out that way then combined with his very recent past misdeeds .......

if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its most likely a duck.

[Hawksfor3]

HaHa-Har-d-Har-Har! Wisky plays AT Champaign next. Illini good and pissed going back home. So refreshing.

An 0-3 skid by F* WISCONSIN!!!!! would be ...

[Whtnhawk]

Sparty outrebounds the tallest team in the country by 10 sending 6'6" guys to the rim.

The Fighting Illinivics will go down in the tournament again when they have to play an uber athletic team. Too much finesse not enough grit.

[EvilMonkeyInTheCloset]

Are we still anointing Illinois as the future champs?......Is that still a thing?..........No?

Good. Enough already, for f*** sake.

[Hawkangler]

No mention of Carr's reverse dunk? That was crazy awesome. Running full speed on the fast break, catches the ball with his head above the rim and a reverse dunk.

[Palmerhawk]

Illini needs Boswell back...missing element that completes this team as tourny tough.
Lot of good guards in BIG this year which should help come March.

If you don't feel the need to apologize, perhaps you could bother to mention there was no foul called on the play

Just because no foul was called is hardly proof that no foul occurred.

Nor does anyone have proof that Fears intentionally tripped the guy.

The fact there was no foul called is certainly worth a mention, no?

Stick to posting inaccurate/outdated records ("typos") for Iowa basketball.

This guy seems like he's going for this season's Brad Davidson award.

I guess he finally came down to earth…still shocked Underwood plucked him from the state of Kansas…

Have never heard of Carson Bounds in my life.

Have you never made a typo?

I despise the drunken Indians ( not the tribes) the stink that comes out of champana. But that Brad Underwood I like. I agree they’re the class of the league.
