Helen Thomas. World's ugliest/nastiest whitehouse reporter. Her face could stop a clock.

Probably would also stop a cock
She was nasty
Who in their right mind would have banged her?

Daniel Boone, Henry Clay, Abraham Lincoln, and Secretariat.

Seriously, hard to go wrong with Boone, Clay, Lincoln, and Ali...

Any list without the colonel isn't worth implementing. Fine, he sold out to Pepsi, but let's give the man credit for building out a global empire. I personally have spent at least a couple thousand dollars at kfc over the years.

Big deal. So you've been there about a dozen times.

I seriously thought about Secretariat. But then I read that he was actually Virginia bred, so that knocked him down a couple of notches. Ali and Bill Monroe are the no brainers to me. Bill Monroe invented his own genre of music, not many people can say that. You could exclude Lincoln, because he mostly is identified with Illinois instead of KY.

If they did a Mount Rushmore of just famous people associated with Kentucky, who would you put up there?

My picks: Abe Lincoln - Ali - Rupp - Bill Monroe (alternate: Hunter Thompson)

Since I've spent half my life in Texas, for TX I would go with: Sam Houston - Willie Nelson - Tom Landry - Nolan Ryan

Lincoln, Ali, Col. Sanders, Henry Clay
