UK bats still sleeping today, a beautiful pitching performance being wasted .....very sad !
We'd gotten runners in scoring position three straight innings without bringing them in.
UK with a big 6 run inning working. Some nice two out hitting as well.
30 did what the 4 hole hitter is supposed to do. Clear the bases!!! I guess better late than never.
Hill has got to be in this lineup. He turns a single through the right side into a double because the right fielder didn't hustle to the ball.
Hill hustles more and runs on contact and beats the throw home to make it 7-0
Great effort by Macciocchi today 6.1 innings of 1 hit shut out ball with 7 K's and 0 walks, shame he won't get the win.
Anyone else's video go back to the first inning? I then tried listening to the audio in the top of the ninth but got "Passionate Kisses" country music instead of the game. The Live Stats still had the game going on so I know they went 1-2-3 but it might have been nice to see or hear that ending.
Two straight games without our pitchers giving up a walk. Did Mingione threaten to make them run the hill or something?
