Looks like MU will be going with their backup QB.If we lose this one this truly will be a horrible year.Everyone on the squad knows that,so I say we get some momentum back by playing a pretty inspired ballgame.

I mean, what did "everyone on the squad" think after losing to Duke for the fourth straight time? Did that performance make them overconfident going into the SIU game?
If this team has not gotten the message after turning the ball over 7 times in the last two games and giving up as many points as they have in the three games so far this year they never will.
They could be playing Loyola Academy this Saturday and they better not be overconfident.They should be focused and come out with passion and get after it.
Dr. Gragg is General Lamarque in this saga. It's entirely up to him. Because, as LouVer said, Fitz gonna Fitz.
It’sa tragic comedy. I say comedy as you often see this level of stubbornness and irrationality in a three stooges bit.
I think this game will tell us a lot .Scenario A..the team should be pissed and embarrassed about last week, If they truly have better talent than Miama of Ohio they should run rough shod over these guys....The Coaches should be pissed and pull out every stop schematically. NU 31-MofO 6.They have to make an attempt to get some swagger back.
Scenario B..but if they come out still shocked that they got beat by SIU and the coaches play it close to the vest out of fear of losing again....NU loses in overtime....6-0 on a fake field goal..............But what I really want because I have been told , that this team is better than last year...I want to see other guys play in place of guys who have not played well...I want to come away from this game knowing the truth...Is our talent close to FCS talent or have we just performed poorly?...is Fitz the most stubborn coach of all time ?, does this team have heart ? WORST FEAR......Fitz comes out saying we are better and just tries to man to man up beat these guys and we again get outmanned . out hustled and out schemed....with the ugliest truth at all , Talent is average, coaching is below average....and WINTER IS COMING BEST OUTCOME Kids come out angry, out hustle MofO.....we have at least two explosive touchdowns as the result of good play calling.....The MofO qb is so rattled that after the game he quits football and joins the chess team and we go into the B10 season with some hope and momentum...and are once again the team with Iowa in our back pocket.
