Look for Fox to become the Sky News of the U.S. More internationally focused and more liberal, far more liberal. Speculation is that Hannity is next to go and the line-up could experience a major shift. If this does occur, look for Ailes to form a new network bringing back the old Fox team of O'Reilly, Hannity, Carlson, etc. I would also speculate that a lot of Fox talent would leave to join Ailes. This could get very interesting. We would then have 3 cable networks vying for liberal supremacy, Fox, CNN and MSNBC. Seems like a really big opening for Ailes' new network.

I guess the question becomes, who will scoop up all of these Fox castoffs and start a new Republican news channel with the old Fox lineup? These people have to know that conservative and Republican viewership will disappear and dems/libs will not flock in to replace them. It's company suicide for the News division and the business channel will suffer from general Fox apathy from those that lean right.

I agree. It will be interesting to see how the investors react if this becomes reality. Giving up this cash cow would be extraordinarily difficult especially if they would be fighting with two other networks for just 50% of the country. Will definitely hurt their bottom line.
