Murphy and Canton

In 63 and 64 Canton played Murphy .When we played at Murphy the paper mill, at that time Champion chartered a passenger train for the Canton fans.Several hundred rode to Murphy on the train.I remember people standing along the tracks all the way waving at us .It was the first passenger train folks had seen in years.When we got to Murphy we rode school buses to the stadium. I was still in school then so you know I am a old guy.But I still remember that train ride and all the fun we had.Don't remember anything about the game except we did win.Just thought some might enjoy this story.
