I'd be surprised at a high scoring game, to me if ether offense is scoring in the 30's up then the other team is probably getting beat pretty bad. While Mtn Heritage has scored a lot of points on teams they over matched in games were they're evenly matched they're type of game ,rush the ball - short passes when you have too eat up the clock then play good defense makes for a low scoring game in ones like this one.

I dont think this is a great matchup for Murphy, a clock bleeding power run game beat Murphy in Andrews. Of course Murphy dealt with a wet field that night that limited them some offensively but I just see a lot of similarities between what Andrews did and what Heritage will try to do. With Murphy having three starting lineman out it will make matters tough, when #67 went out early in the Andrews game they lost their best all around lineman and I doubt he'll be back this week, if at all. With #67 and #68 out they're starting a sophomore at left tackle and a freshman at left guard, another freshman played big minutes at DE.

The field at heritage is always wet. Joey runs sprinklers from Thursday night till Friday at 530

I watched the Mtn Heritage vs Swain game earlier in the season live stream. Swain led most the game then I seen a very physical and aggressive Heritage team take over. Seems like Heritage has got better every week except for their rivalry game with Mitchell. Murphy has a lot of athletes but whoever wins this game will be won in the trenches. Should be a close game

If their defense does what ours did they’ll win big. If they can’t then it’s going to be heritage like 21-18 or something
Murphy has struggled on D all season but I've seen some signs of life recently, with that said there is still too much inconsistency in personnel decisons on that side of the ball. I know injuries have forced their hand a little and obviously understand the need to sub and rotate players depending on packages/matchups as well as to keep people fresh, but it's happening to the point that I feel like it would be difficult to establish a rhythm in the game for some of these players.

Another thing is while I think the freshman at MLB is going to be a fine ball player in time, he's not ready for that role yet. I worry about how having such a young kid there is going to go against a team with a strong downhill running game like Heritage. Murphy had their best personnel grouping at LB when they moved #55 from DE to LB and they aborted that experiment after 2 games, still not sure why. I really don't understand it with #30, #17, #24 and #81 in the mix on the d-line now, they have the means to keep #55 at LB in my opinion if they wanted to but it seems that ship has sailed.

Gentry has retired but Murphy seems to have life all of a sudden will be a low scoring defensive game I still say Cougars by 7 I have to I have 2 cousins playing hope it's an injury free game
