That booming punt Franklin got off was huge in turning field position. Anyone know how far that punt was? As far as Murphy going for it on 4th down, i think it was fine. The momentum was all on Franklins side, so trying to keep the ball was understandable. I think some of the play calling late in the game hurt, but Franklins D was playing lights out.

Nole, it was indeed disappointing to lose another one. Extremely close to getting out of the Pit with a win. Murphy played well and had no turnovers. Just a matter of a few key plays making the difference. Murphy has so much potential this season. Coach Brooks and a few Franklin players had nothing but good things to say about the Dogs.

franklin seems to be in murphys head as far as this rivalry goes. not sure the best team always wins this game every year. franklin v brevard should be a good game later this year.
