Murphy has proven to have a winning tradition over the years. Their kids, coaches, and community believe and expect to compete. That's why they would have a chance.

Of course they have a winning tradition they hardly ever play any good teams. That's why it's so important that they stay small in the playoffs or they won't have a chance.

Let this sink in, Murphy is an elite 1a program. Has been for decades. They expect to win because winning is what they do. That’s how I know they can hang with the defending 1aa champs.

Elite period. Check their history. They’ve won 2a titles too, and have made several 3rd and 4th round 1aa appearances as one of the smallest schools in the 1aa playoffs. It’s just a matter of time until they break through and win a 1aa title. When that happens you will no longer have any kind of argument.

Sorry but that's not happening. You are a elite small 1A team but if they had not split the playoffs you would not have the last 3 titles you guys won. Plus you haven't played many good teams outside 1a for a long time so it's hard to even tell

Murphy would have won 1AA in 2010 had they been it. I watched both title games that year and there is no doubt in my mind.
