I found out who this Magnum is. I will not post his name but he is from Erwin. It was pretty easy to figure out if you keep up with Asheville Citizen High School Huddle. I figured one out from Robbinsville that way also. Lmbo
I had already figured it out. I asked his Mom this morning when she left my house.
He tried to deny he was from Erwin when I called him out on it, but it's obvious to anyone who has been on these boards for years who he really is.

That Ma / Murphy match up would be a dandy, I would imagine the gate would be good , MAKE IT HAPPEN. I know the bears lose morehead next year . Fun one indeed, would be a playoff atmosphere early , would be great for both squads.
Murphy vs Ashe would be a Murphy blowout, and it would be about a 5 hour bus ride...

Hmmmm I dunno about that. Murphy's defense is very stout, stronger than anything else the Northwest has to offer.
Nobody had scored all over Murphy this season. An Ashe sure as s*it ain't the team to do it. Murphy's starting defense has given up 2 TD's or less nine out of ten games this year. Only game they didnt was Cherokee, where they sleptwalk through the first half.

Ashe plays in the MVAC, which makes your statement even more accurate.
The MVAC is notoriously weak, but they do produce good teams. I said, still say, and will say till my dying day that had East Wilkes beat Mitchell in 2015, they would have beat WRH. The cards didn't have speed, tricky plays, or that ONE star player. They played plain old fundamentals, and were an offensive coordinators nightmare.m
Im not even saying Ashe is a bad team, they just wouldn't "score all over" Murphy.
Don't know if it's feasible, but Rabun Co. has played Hayesville and Robbinsville in the past and is no creampuff from GA
Hendersonville said several years ago they would not play Murphy no more
Why not WCU? It would be a fair matchup because Murphy fans say they are the best in the world, and it would be close by.
