I can’t imagine Cherokee going for the extra point. Their kicker is not reliable right now. I believe their chances are just as high going for 2 every score. If this is a high scoring game those single points could be the difference. Murphy’s kicker is impressive and very accurate. She maybe tiny but they do a good job protecting her. Two very mobile QBs going into this one. I am not going to call. Either a nail bitter or a blow out. It’s up for each team decide.

Don't expect a blowout on this one. To make this a little interesting for everyone: My son, Rosman player, believes that Cherokee will win due to being more physical than Murphy. I agree, Murphy wasn't very physical last week. I gotta go with Murphy though for their execution and disciplined program

I would be willing to put money on Murphy winning by double digits before Cherokee winning by the same amount. I hate that I'm not closer to watch the game but I'll hopefully be tuned in online to listen. I expect a score somewhere around 42-35.

Couldn’t be more true! Of course we still lost but going into this game Cherokee will need all its weapons at offense. Evans I assume is healthy again. One trick ponies can only do so much

I did watch the game. The refs were not good that game but we also did not play well that game. Gave up penalties during crucial downs. But I stand by my statement. I agreed with Swain97 because it is true. Mintz dropped back only to sprint up the middle most of the time. His ability as a runner changes the game. But I said Cherokee will need to do more offensively and use every weapon. I can say that Cherokee has better passing attack than ever before. Going brother to brother is the best WR/QB relationship you can have. I am just saying Cherokee will need to adjust if their "go to" is taken away.

C'mon GWYtoli, you know rivalry games are different. How about in 07 when Cherokee still had Woods. They came into Swain Co. with a Swain team that I think only won one game. You had arguable the best back in the state and a line of the decade but lost. Big games have big guys step up. Friday is Cherokees moment to continue to step up. They have passed all the regular seasons tests, so shut us up and just show up.
