2nd round rematch, wish one of these two would have got sent to the other side of the bracket. Should be a good one.

I look for a similar game like a couple of weeks ago. Then on to the rematch at the Big Oaks.

I think Rosman must win the turnover battle to win, but they have struggled with that against Murphy in recent years.

A lot more on the line for both teams than the previous game 2 weeks ago. Penalties still a problem for the Dogs last night. Murphy was able to contain Orr and Rice for the most part in game 1 enabling them to pick up the win. Murphy has rotated 5 or 6 in the backfield the past few weeks which imo has been beneficial to the offense. I would be surprised if Rosman came out flat again as they did 2 weeks ago, therefore I think it will be a tight game. Murphy needs to come out strong and put points on the board early and often.

2 good teams going at it, as it should be in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Which team can raise its level of play from good to very good ? Murphy is showing signs that its wanting to raise the bar on offense and defense. Rosman is tough as nails. Should be a dandy !

For the Tigers, this game will be played between the ears more so than on the field IMO....

It's been 15 years since Rosman last beat Murphy, and I just don't know whether the Tigers believe they can win or not?....As mentioned earlier in this thread, the Tigers just didn't get off the bus a couple weeks ago at "The Hill", so it's hard too tell if the team is content with their accomplishments or not?....The Tigers did manhandle the Alleghany Trojans after that rough start to the game, but most expected that to happen anyway....

On the season, Rosman has yet to beat a team with a winning record, and have beaten every team they've faced with a losing record with the exception of Hayesville who was 3-1 when the Tigers blasted them in Rosman, but the Yellowjackets finished the season with an 8-game losing streak....

As I said earlier in the season, I will temper my enthusiasm until which time that the Tigers actually beat one of the big 3 in the SMC, and they have NOT done that, so it's really hard to believe at the moment that Rosman is going to go over to Murphy, and somehow turn the switch, and pick up a playoff victory over the favored Bulldogs?

Right now, Rosman is the Underdog in this matchup, and nobody is realistically giving the Tigers a chance to win, and who would blame them with the recent history favoring the Bulldogs...

We've got the type of team this year that can beat the Bulldogs...We've got Talent...We've got Experience, and we should have the MOTIVATION going into this game, but again, it's that mass between the ears that will play a huge factor in determining the outcome this friday....

If you don't believe you can win, you have NO shot at doing so!

I wasn't able to make the final game at Murphy, due to health issues, and I was not able to go to the home playoff game against Alleghany for the same reason, but I did listen to both broadcast...My plan for this friday is to suck-it-up, and make the 4-hour round trip with hopes that the Tigers will play their best game of the season at "The Hill"?

As always, Roar Tigers Roar!

Should be interesting to see how #21 Posey figures into the equation, he'll be back this week.

I was going to keep it quiet till someone else brought it up, but yes the return of Posey is big for Murphy.

Not sure how much he'll play this Friday because he couldn't be 100% conditioning or preparation wise after missing so much time, but if 'Dogs can get past Rosman I'm sure he will be an important piece moving forward.

Do you think he will help in the passing game? Don't remember him being a running threat

Yes because his reps on offense will be at slot receiver. He will make a bigger impact on defense though because he's easily Murphy's best defensive back when healthy.

He still hasn't had time to get back in game shape though. Going through practice is one thing against the scout team offense. Another thing against a teams starters.
