I don't think attending your son's game makes you a dirtbag. If he had simply travelled to Columbia to go to the game and pull for Vandy with no connection, that would be pretty low rent.

South Carolina is no longer supporting Will Muschamp and hasn't in half a decade.
I wasn't supporting him well before 2020. But doesn't bother me if he was there supporting his son. I guess he got a very quick ride/flight to Columbia considering UGA finished up in Knoxville around 7:30 Saturday evening. And we started at 7:50.

Yes, he made enough money off us and Florida to never have to work again. That said, his wife made it very clear years ago when they were at Carolina that Muschamp's dream was to be a successful, winning SEC Head Football Coach. He fell far, far short of achieving that dream. Whether that failure bothers him....I don't know. I'm not a psychiatrist. Regardless, it is a failure he will have to live with. I don't.

At least his son didn't take the knee in victory formation to end the game, I was thinking about that as the time ticked down, but never noticed Coach Muschamp was there, did he really watch from the Vandy section or did he sneak down from a box after the game after the crowd had cleared?

I wish some drunken fool would have slapped him.
