Must get a QB

What makes you think ANY QB could perform well with this season's OL?
The changes the OC has made since Littrell was fired is designed for much quicker routes and MUCH QUICKER releases from the QB, generally predetermined. Arnold just doesn't get that aspect of the game. He can't read a defense, doesn't seem to know how to follow his progressions and has no ability to secure the ball.

I don't want to beat a dead horse but Gabriel at QB this year would most likely have us at 8-2 just because of his brain. 😁

As much as I've bagged on our OCs....the reality is we have faced EIGHT teams with top 25 ranked total defenses (inclusive of Houston and Tulane, besides the SEC foes): https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/22 We've faced two defenses that were not stout. Been a perfect storm for failure, between our injured/incompetent O and the schedule.

Our O would have likely struggled no matter what some this year, but it doesn't help there has been complete ineptitude at the OC spot. Yes the OL has been banged up and underperforming, but you acknowledge that - not ignoring it, on the way to setting a sack record at OU. The lack of screens continues to flabbergast.
