Great find, this was a good read. We’re very lucky and spoiled that Zion is wearing Duke’s name on his chest. His character is better than his basketball talent, saying that about arguably the best college player in the 2000s is quite a compliment. It’s deserving though.

I also want to say that Zion is also lucky to be wearing Duke’s name on his jersey. Our medical staff is the best in the nation and although we were all frustrated wondering what was taking so long, they knew what they were doing and they ensured he was 110%. Most schools would have probably sent him back to playing too soon.

I would have no problem if Zion adopted me and called me son. I would have no problem with Daddy buying me a new home and car and boat ect, ect, you get the picture.

^This, and thanks for sharing this great story. With all the superlatives being said about this great young man, I'd like to share one that I just read this morning, which is a little different than we normally hear:
Zion Williamson is essentially a Rhinoceros on a Go Cart, with a Sledgehammer strapped on his back, who can jump over anybody else, and in the mean time make his team smile and feel better about themselves!
I can guarantee you this, he makes me feel better, just by doing this>
