I think this will be a close game. LB struggles tackling athletes in space. If Scales or other back can get to second/third level or WR can create one on one situations on perimeter, LB could have issues. MV will have to score 28+ points if they want to win this one.

I believe LB wins. Haven't seen MV this season so I'm not predicting any score. But also wouldn't be too surprised if MV found a way. Contrast in styles makes for an interesting game. Good luck to both.

I agree with mike, LB prob to good up front. MV prob won’t be able to run at all. They’ll have to move ball thru the air.

MV should have a full defensive squad this week, 1st time thats happened in a long time. MV has just given up 30+ points twice this year, and that was against GW and Reidsville. LB im sure will ground and pound and try to eat clock, and I just dont see them scoring alot. Dont see MV running up the middle, but I do believe they can get to the edges against LB. Passing game looked pretty good last week, Roberts had 200+yrds passing for his first playoff start. I think MV will have to score early and often, just to get LB out of rhythm. Im going 35-14 MV..

Magna Vista will have to do 3 things to win this ball game! 1) Play aggressive fundamentally sound Defense! 2) Control the line of scrimmage. 3) Move the ball on offense. I say those 3 things because that is what LB loves to do. LB is BIG up front and physical and can move the ball. There defense is fast and aggressive as well. If MV come ready to play this could be a good ball game and hoping my warriors come out on top! I'm predicting 21-14 MV.

Also they cant have the penalties as they did in the 2nd qtr against alleghany.

Hasn't penalties been a problem all year for MV? Just curious.

Yes, they’ve had so many holding calls this year. Just off top of my head I’m guessing they’ve averaged 4-5 holding calls a game

This will be a close game but at the end of the day LB is just better... magna Vista has not beat a good team all year but will play with enough heart to keep it close.

Hats off to LB and to the seniors for the Warriors. First half was what I expected except for MV giving up big 3rd and long conversions. LB killed MV with what seemed to be 4 plays that MV could not find and make adjustment to stop. Like the past big games MV's defense stayed on the field entirely to long. Offense did not move the ball effectively or keep LB's defense at bay. MV needs more speed on the field on both sides of the ball. But on a positive note, I see the future looking bright for the warriors and hopefully they can get back on track to being a threat in 3A.
