North Wilkes at Wilkes Central.

I think Starmount wins a close one against Alleghany. 21-13

East earns another low scoring shut out 21-0

Elkin slows Ashes air raid down for a 35-21 victory.

Wilkes Central hangs as many as they want.

I agree (Crazy to say that). The Elkin vs Ashe game is very interesting and could decide who wins the conference.

Good to see a couple folks with differences agree.

Ashe Elkin will definitely have conference championship implications. We'll see how good Ashe can be. I still think Central and Elkin will end up jockeying for it, but Ashe will have a say in things. They always do.

I think it will come down between those 3 for sure. WC looked very impressive last week.

Week 2 should tell us a lot more about this conference. Still think it’s a 3 team race with Elkin as the favorite.
