You won't believe who I had dinner with Monday night.

Sockless and I are talking about all things Norman and Sooner football.

Those were the days.
Parked there for games in the 70's.
Go in, get blotto after the games...then drive all the way back to Tulsa, probably way over the BAC level even then...which was like 4.0 at the time.

Good times...:)

Yep, curious thing fashions...more than once I went to work on no sleep, still wearing my disco britches...plus bonus, reeking of stale beer and cigarettes.

I was a pioneer man...:eek:

This was done on short notice, kind of on the fly. So I went straight from my last appt in HP to Jasons deli on Mockingbird. So my sox were my work socks. Solid white. I think my dad wore argyle socks in the 50s. But I do not think I ever did.

If I ever went out on a date with Sockless, I would dress more tastefully. But tonight was about sharing old war stories and meeting for both of us a poster with whom we had talked for close to 15 years.

I think most of us here would love to meet most of the other posters here. I just got to meet the one that most men here would most like to. I feel so envied.

That's right, rub our faces in it P! Kick the dogs when you've got 'em down, pour salt into the open wound and make us love it. I think you've stumbled into a winning game plan vs the wackites !!
