Really??? I mean really???? Take a knee at the 8 and throw the ball out of bounds on last play of the game? What the hell? Georgia Tech.

Doege has the face of I don’t give a damn and this was the worst performance ever my a WVU team.

Rich Rod first season. Rich Rod vs Maryland in regular season game then the Gator. Stewart in any game. Holgorsen 2013 Maryland, KU, ISU. On and on and on.

Nehlen 1987 team.

We've had a lot of crap games and ****** ways to lose and this one adds to that pile.

I wouldn't say he he is defending anything just pointing out a long list of debacles in the history of wvu football.

With 18 seconds and no timeouts with 90 yards to go you need a pass to the middle of the field. A spike. Another quick pass to the middle of the field then a spike. Have the field goal team ready for the tie.

The key word here is quick. You can't wait in the pocket for 7 seconds to throw the ball waiting for a receiver to come perfectly open while worrying about throwing an interception.

This is stuff that is taught at the middle school and high school levels. Execution isn't there like at the college level but the thinking is.

Really think this team - all 85+ - need a class on basic football knowledge. If you fail, your scholarship is rescinded. Sometimes, when time is of the essence or you're down, you need a coach or coaches on the field. Folks who know what's coming and what to do. It doesn't even need to be called. This team lacks that and has for years. We end up shooting ourselves in the foot more often than not because of it.

No, but if you've been a long standing WVU fan, you've been here before. For many reasons, WVU never puts the entire 3 phases together.

Great offense? Guaranteed we'll have a **** defense.

Rod's last year, we have a great offense and a capable defense! Wooo!!!
Rod spends his Pitt prep week kissing *** with our friends in Ann Arbor instead of doing something crazy like game prep. Well....****.

This isn't a pity party.

It's our legacy.

Those who don't pay attention to our history are doomed to soul crushing disappointment. I passed the acceptance phase years ago.
