Did TV show him limping after that great move (and miss) early in the first half? He loosened his shoe, sat apart from the huddle, talking with the trainer, then favored that ankle for the next three or four possessions.

At one point, I thought he was going out for sure.

Law did a fabulous job playing through it, but it's obviously something he's battling. It's at least the second time this year I've seen him favor it.

Tonight's second half defense has me less concerned than others. However, if Law's ankle becomes a long-term thing, that side of the ball could get real ugly.

I think Collins would have to switch to zone if NU was without Law for more than a game or two. Heck, maybe they should have done to zone last night.

I am wondering about Scotty. His play on the defensive end reminded me of his sophomore year much more than last year. On numerous plays you could see he was too upright instead of sitting down in a good defensive position. It led him to getting beat on backcuts as well as off the dribble multiple times. Guys blew right by him on occasions and it sure looked like he wasn't bending his knees at all on D during those plays. Being in bad position absolutely contributed to his foul trouble. I don't know if that's just effort or whether he's not really 100%. Hopefully, that will change going forward.

Law initially injured his ankle in the scrimmage a month ago. It looked bad, but came back somewhat tentatively in that second half. Disappointing to see that it seems to still be bothering him. Maybe he should be rested in some of these lesser games

I’m glad you mentioned this-agree. To me he looked “flat”, like he was fighting a bug, or almost like he looked just before he was diagnosed last year.
