My updated wish list

With Brohm and Venables being off the board, here's what I would like to see:

Ryan Day, OC Ohio State. Coaches an explosive offense and recruits National Championship contender players. Recruiting ties are mostly in the fertile grounds of the northeast. Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc.

Day hires Randy Shannon as DC. Shannon has always fielded a good defense and is DEEPLY entrenched in Florida recruiting, especially the Miami area.

Hire these two and you get great coaching along with a HUGE established recruiting footprint.

Day was off he board yesterday. OSU names him the coach in waiting. Myers said next year will be his last at OSU

It is now a open secret that Day is the coach in waiting at Ohio State. It is expected that 2019 is the last year for Urban, I do wish we would interview Tony Elliot the Clemson OC

of the updated candidates if you remove Venebles, Brown, Leach, Norvell, Day, Babers, Campbell and Tucker...from the list because of buyout, red flags, or not wanting the job then you're left with and you include the coaches that reached out like Jim McElwain, Jim Mora Jr, Brad Childress your entire list is probably Satterfield, Long, Fickell, Bill Clark and Joe Whitt Jr.

of those I go: Satterfield, Fickell, Long, Clark, Whitt Jr and wouldn't touch any of the 3 former coaches.

I recall you attempted a list a few months ago. Any guys in contention that you can recall being on your early list?

I gave you some crap about the guy from Toledo what was his name?

Jason Candle is Toledo's HC.

I would have had Venebles, Norvell, Neal Brown, Luke Fickell and Matt Campbell on my early wish list I would say. I didn't know anything about Scott Satterfield. He's definitely one of those guys that the more you learn and read about him the more you like.
