Ugh. That's the one down fall to spring is you have to start mowing the yard. Other than that I'm good with it

I just don't think we have enough to beat Auburn without Jax UNLESS Brea has a monster game. We have to get a few stops. Butler being back helps.

Would like to possibly grill out later. We'll see.

Redid the yard late last year. Last warm weekend we had to do it and the wind picked up like a son of a gun. Had a hard time keeping straw and seed in place. Have some bare spots showing but we will be overseeding soon. Not real happy with one low spot remaining. Still holding some water in the very back. Looks like one more load of dirt might fix it. We will see even though it is already 100% better than it used to be. Held so much water back there. It was ridiculous. Got it draining with the natural contour of the land now.

Cats will have a tough one today. Just hope they can keep it respectable. If we get healthy we are going to be a force. Still love this team and coach. Go CATS!

Didn't get to see it. Was working on a project with my brother. He's building a shop on the farm he bought. We put in a retaining wall the past two weekends . It was quite the job. P.S. Those retaining wall stones are heavy..

- We will beat OU/UGA by 5 or 6
- We will beat Bama by 3
- We will lose to Auburn by 10+ in a game that doesn’t mean jack shite
- 3 seed in NCAA
- Will be matched up with 30-3 Drake in 1st round. This one is a toss up but I think we win a very close game
- 2nd round???

Yeah, that was a typo in my brain. I meant that we will lose to Florida by 10+ in a game that doesn’t mean jack shite as far as our seeding is concerned. We will be a 3 seed regardless of the outcome of that game.

Net ranking = 12
KenPom = 11

That is a solid 3 seed as long as we don’t shite the bed in our first SEC tourney game.

Could we win enough in the SEC tournament to earn a 2 seed or are we a 3 seed no matter what?

Sure. Beat Bama AND Florida. That’s the only way into a 2 seed. And that ain’t happening so you can Fife that right now.

I think we are a solid 3 unless we lose 1st game. If that happens then there is a chance we drop to a 4 depending on how certain other teams fare in their respective conference tourneys.

As always, what happens on Sunday has no NCAA seeding weight whatsoever. Might as well be two random pickup teams playing in the hood on a Sunday afternoon where someone is definitely getting punched in the mouth & there’s a 35% chance somebody’s gettin’ a cap in dey ***.

I have no illusions were beating Florida cause I don't think we're beating Bama. And I love the picture you painted!

I had a little date night with the wife on Saturday. We went to see the Led Zeppelin cover band, Led Zeppelin 2, at The Mercury Ballroom. Those dudes are pretty darn talented and the drummer had the longest drum solo I have ever seen. The music was really good and unfortunately for this guy, will be the closest thing I'll ever get to the real thing. Good times were had and thankfully I had a Sunday to recuperate (mostly). If anyone enjoys the live music scene, you may want to check them out.

Cover bands are the only way to see most classic rock anymore. The real bands are dead or in a rocking chair somewhere. Sometimes one or two original members carry on, but I doubt it’s really the same as they were in their heyday.

I saw an Elton John cover a few months ago. It was great. Sounded more like Elton than the real Elton.

I listen to the news during my work commute and sometimes they talk about the prime minister of Israel (Benjamin Netanyahu). Every time I hear them say his name, in my head I hear the old ads for Yahoo. Netan-ya-HOO!!!

Started from scratch. Zero returning players. Zero points, rebounds, assists, etc…returning from last year. Got a late start on portal recruiting because Cal effed UK by leaving so late in the game. Pope still put together a Top 10 type squad that beat Duke, Florida, Gonzaga, UT twice, Louisville, etc…

Overcame key injuries along the way to Robinson, Kerr, Butler & Carr. We beat Gonzaga with Robinson playing PG in the second half after being down 16 at halftime. We even beat Tennessee AT Tennessee with Williams playing PG for most of the game.

Even with all of those cards stacked against Pope…10 short months after being hired…the Cats are Sweet 16 bound. First team in NCAA history to reach that milestone with zero returning players.

Yep, Pope is more than worthy of being named the COY.

OK. I get it. That is already incredibly insane. No way it is exactly 50% on both again this time…but both %’s need to be somewhere in that neck of the woods FTW. Because we didn’t beat them on the boards the first two games & we won’t this time either.
