Welp, the 2022 Men's 50+AAA Senior Slowly-Pitched Softball season kicks off the first weekend in March with the Huntsville 50+AAA Senior Slowly-Pitched Softball Rocket City Classic in, you guessed it, Huntsville, Alabama. The past two years it's been cold AF for that tournament, but I just checked the extended forecast and it's looking pretty tasty...

As a kid, I was very worried about Nukes. Due to my ****** vision, I was convinced that everything way up in the sky was an ICBM. I’m not sure all of this is even on my kids’ radar and I hope it stays that way.

I saw Toad The Wet Sprocket on EKU’s campus in the early 90’s. I think it was ‘93. Chick that invited me was a nursing student at EKU. The music was pretty much meh & I had to get up & go to work the next day...but I scored a trifecta that night: free ticket, free booze & freak fest back at her apartment after the concert.

Odd thing was that their one & only hit single was the very first song on their set list. That was the only song of theirs that I had ever heard before that night & they played it right out of the gate. Had never seen a “headliner” band do that before...nor have I seen it since.
