#69 fill up - DOESNT EXIST. SOBS. Apparently beavers don’t count well. The numbers stop at 60, then jump to 200 or something stupid. I have no idea how many pumps are there. Still got my sweet beaver juice and then headed inside.
First, I pottied like a rockstar in the spacious bathroom. It’s sort of an open concept. Very nice. Did not spot the bathroom attendant. There is a “checkpoint” thing at the entrance that keeps track of how many people go in.
Got my patented XL Diet Dew to keep me company, but not before I tried a sip of Buc-ee’s own branded Blue Cream soda (made with pure cane sugar). Pretty nice.
Women be shopping. At Buc-ee’s. It’s downright stupid, but I ain’t mad. Quite a few yoga pants on display, and they’re buying everything. This is not your Speedway crowd. Buc-ee’s is a regional attraction with pristine bathrooms and respectable clientele.
I just sort of wondered around sipping Dew, seeing the sights. Jerky is the main attraction, and frankly I don’t care much about it. Partly because every dumbass is at the jerky counter asking the Jerky Master about 500 different jerkies.
I browsed the bakery section, and decided I’d pick up a reasonably priced cinnamon roll. It was the right choice. Big, soft, and quite frankly, one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. It was the combination of the softness and the cream cheese icing. Well done, beaver. At 2.50 per roll, I’m declaring it a must buy item. The sweet lil lady even offered to warm it up for me, and tucked it away in a nice sturdy box.
Great day to visit Buc-ee’s. It was busy, but not crowded. The weather is amazing, and nobody is stressed.
Oh, and some stupid lady stopped dead in the middle of the traffic circle when I was waiting to hop in. She was probably from Mt Sterling.
