In the article, it said the umps must have thought it hit a ring or something suspended from the roof because otherwise nobody could misplay a ball that badly -- but the video clearly shows it was little more than a bloop with a lot of backspin. How four umps, especially the home plate ump, and a replay guy could miss that is staggering.

I assume that is in reference to the Bat Cats currently getting waxed 5-0 by UofL. In which case I concur with the above sentiments.

Deep thought. Some alien civilization somehow received and could translate our tv and radio signals. They've been listening and watching the infancy of either medium.
