For the more experienced-in-life NOB members and lurkers. How long do you fight the gray eyebrows? Asking for a friend.

Works for beards, I assume it would work for brows. I don’t think Keith and Clyde would steer a brother wrong.

Neighbor woman has a tendency of inserting a random reference to f*ckin Rumpelstiltskin in conversations at a bizarre rate. All times of year. My wife asked me today what it was all about ("I don't know..she's weird AF I guess") and if "he's the guy that sleeps all the time? Maybe she's tired because she has two kids?"

So then we had to talk about Rip Van Winkle for a minute and haha wow what has happened to my life?

Better prime up the fruitcake, Mash. Put a Dolly turd in the middle and scrawl haggardly on the top of the cake in putrid icing "welcum (lol) to the hood. *****"

lol what r u guys talking about.

Nobody welcomed me to the hood,
so I do kind of want to take them some welcoming donuts, or something. That's a pretty big social step for me tho, and I'm afraid they would come to my house and bring me something, or worse. Who knows what could happen. Definitely not doing anything till I know they're fully moved in and all heavy items are situated.

Never eat anything a stranger brings you.

I would only want to see them from within the bounds of marriage, and even then only from the missionary perspective — under cover of darkness, of course — whilst in the midst of striving solely for procreation only, not pleasure.

Thus speaketh the Mav.

@Kooky Kats Glad you got to see the Cats win! Hope you had a great day at the track as well.

Now you know you have to come back to Kroger Field in two years to ensure another victory over the Vols.
Thank you. It was an awesome weekend.

Great seeing friends, going to basketball game, drinking bourbon, went to Woodford Reserve, walked campus. Primo seats for FB game.

My brother pulled into a house on Woodland to park for $20. Turned in to park and skidded endlessly on mud... into another parked car. The parents of UTs number 63 right guard. They were sweet people and understanding. Shook up my bro.

I got drunk.

Good stuff.

Drank all kinds of Three Floyd’s beers at Lynagh’s. One of those Unicorn breweries I never had a chance to try. Unbelievable stuff. I tried 4 different ones.

Of which, I can’t remember. Space Station Middle Finger, King... blurry.

Big kid’s marching band goes for the hardware this Saturday at Papa Johns stadium.

So he (and they) did the damn thing.

Will Mr. Tim Allen be at the band show?
He was, in all his glory. Handed out the 4th place trophies. Seems a bit disrespectful to such a legend.

Got to break the UK win over UT to a few hundred people in my section. Marching band crowds are very quiet and I may have exclaimed a bit too loudly when ol dude came up two yards short on the Hail Mary. Still not as good as the country boy who yelled “UK beat UT!!!” as they prepared to do awards and it was completely silent. Hats off to you, Jim Bob.

Also, hats off to the lady from Russell County who yells/screams/emits “Rock my face off!” every time their band gets ready to play.

It was colds as balls, even though that is an awful simile. They were they only warm things around. Papa Johns stadium is a wind tunnel until they close that end off some more (which turns out they shouldn’t have started in the first place)

Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. My simpleton palate loves the place and the middle boy thinks it’s the fanciest establishment ever.

All in all, I gotta say it was a good day.

WTF does that even mean? Did jr and his band buddies win the damn thing or not? Or did they just show up. What does "did the damn thing" mean?Or did they get the privilege of being handed a 4th place trophy from the all powerful grand poohbah himself. And as long as no band wally pulled out an AK on that field yesterday...then yes...it was a good day.

But who actually won? C'mon man, know your audience. I'm old and I'm a simpleton. I'm not up on slang and I can't read tea leaves. Help a brother out here, man.

Yes. Good job FunkyJr! It’s a lot of work. Congrats.
No doubt. The HS band where my kids go to school practices 10x longer than any of the sports teams do. Their summer practices are like 8-10 hour days or something ridiculous like that. And they ain't got no fancy trophy or plaque to show for it...as far as I know anyway. Then add in the day long competitions every weekend and such. It's a ton of work on the kids.

And the parents all have to volunteer to help set up, tear down, transport, etc...I know funky has put in work. So, congrats to you too, man. They should give you one of dem medallions.
