Mike Bowen, a protective equipment manufacturer who warned about the lack of PPE, testified more lives will be lost if the US government doesn't listen to scientists.

Here's the deal. You do you, and I'll do me. I'm going to make the most of it while protecting the weak and elderly. I do respect others, and wear a mask out in public. I don't call out others for not.

I am about to call out grocery store employees wearing them on their chins, though.

Which gets me to this fall. We are cranking out the PPE now. We won't be reliant upon China if this thing does come back in the fall. Most non-medical people who want them have obtained cloth masks of some sort.

Simmer down Francis, and enjoy life.

Have a great one.

I'll be out on the boat fishing in 80 degree weather tomorrow. I still haven't got a haircut, but this Keanu Reeves look is growing on me. Since we won't be in the office until at least September, maybe we'll just let it play out some more.

Saturday night I'll be hanging illegally with friends. Sunday, there's the first professional sports on TV for months, so I'll be watching the Darlington race.
Playing golf tody at 1 in 80* weather. I've had my hair cut twice already. Tell my patients it's white privilege.

How likely, even if we had all the PPE in the world as well as having a ventilator on every corner of America, would still the justification to bash the president lie in "he waited too long"? Very likely. However, the fundament reason to bash him is because the scoundrel beat Hillary, the presumptive one! They still can't get beyond he won.
Exactly and he's made Obama look inept. In fact, it's as if somebody is using white out on his Presidency.

something of an interesting phenomenon is occurring with my young adult children. They are stating their white counterpart friends are using the phrase "because I am white" as a mocking response to causes of climate change, why they are fat, why WVU lost a football game, and why's for so many other things happening in the news.

I love the new, sort of new, reason for climate change. Because dogs poop in parks (insert...…...owned by white people).

Good for you, moron. Nothing you said is in response to anything I have said about my opinion or actions. So STFU in your attempt to frame my position. I will state my position appropriately and without regard to anyone else's influence.

I think you missed my point. Billions were spent after 9/11 to be ready for things like this. He was the head, why weren't they ready with PPE? That's my point but I really don't see why people think we are going to be prepared to for everything.
You have amnesia. Billions and trillion have been cut from the federal spending since 9/11 and that is well documented. You are uninformed on that aspect.

And yes, your point of we can't be prepared for everything in terms of supply. But we can be prepared with plans and put action into place at the right time to minimize effect of things like this. The government has that ability and was not done. In place of acting appropriately, Trump and his Administration downplayed it and STILL is not acting timely. He says a bunch of stuff; the actions to this day doesn't back it up in terms of maximizing the results.

He acted quicker and smarter than Cuomo and other govs who forced nursing homes to take sick people. Nearly half of the deaths come from nursing homes. pretty sure liberals were against stopping people from china from coming into this country. FYI, NIH was in charge and dick head Fauci was in charge. blame him

Play well. Bunch of my friends played yesterday. My other group of golf buddies started the big golf weekend yesterday outside of Birmingham. I'm really impressed how they have been able to change up the usual weekend and are making the most out of the various restrictions in place. Only 12 guys are participating but they are going to have a blast and the weather is fantastic.

Yes, they are at Ross Bridge this year. I plan on going fishing for the second time during this episode on Sunday. I have pretty much given up on doing much golfing this summer. May play in tournaments on 5/30 and 7/27 as I want to play those courses as they are private and are outstanding per reputation. But other than those two dates, I doubt I will do much more in terms of golf.

I had the chance to play Seminole about 5 years ago. Going to be interesting to see the guys play it Sunday. It was Feb and the greens were as fast as any I had every played. Birdied Hogan's hole that he liked to practice on. Holed a bunker shot for birdie on a par 5 on the back side. Some of the greens were unplayable. Esp #18

Yes, I choose not to and I'm not saying what I say about my personal situation as it pertains to anything other than having a conversation with you. I am of the belief that the risk of doing certain things is fine and I've said since this all started that I believe golf could be done pretty darn safely.

They are making the pros carry their own clubs. Caddies will rake the bunkers at Seminole. FYI, I was told I had to hurry up cause Bob Ford was playing behind us. We played Seminole in 30mph winds. I had never played it and wanted to be able to enjoy it. Their motto was 3.5 hours.

Yes, Seminole has a great reputation. I'm looking forward to watching some live sports on TV.

And one of the main reasons the country hasn't bee prepared, tax cuts and the resulting cuts in spending. Bad policy is affecting deeply for many years. I don't expect changes. Citizens are too damn uninformed and too much influenced by "what is in it for ME?".
you never answered my question about the nudie bars in Indiana, but I do have another follow-up question. If they're open, do you think they'll have to wear a mask around that poontang?

Hey, I'm curious. When you joined the organization, did they give you the hood and gown, was it included in your dues, was it up to you to purchase it on your own?

Got it on my own. Unlike you, I pay for my stuff and probably a welfare case like you and your mom. How many tricks does she turn in a day?
