OR they just made a true statement. The reason it is an opening is because this administration and repubs have crippled the govs ability to fight this. And now, right in front of everyone's eyes our 'president' is obviously not capable of helping us. The only thing he cares about is business. Your statements above show no solid chain of reasoning. You should stop talking about who is intelligent because you are undoubtedly one of the ones who keep voting for the politicians that are controlled by the money that has had a boot up our asses for the last 100 years.

Money (Republicans and Democrats) and Trump ARE the problem. THAT is why they keep bringing them up on the news. Conspiracy my ***. Money is the conspiracy. Wake up.

Cmon over to the politics thread , we need more voices like yours :)

I though part of religion was to obey the laws of god and the land? They get to thumb their noses to taxes........I say let them pray to their god when they get sick to get well.........not that it will do them any good.............

Dude , you sound entirely hateful towards Christians . Do they really bother you that badly ?

Had our church and devotional time from home today...sung and prayed and heard a great message about hope! For those who are in a place of uncertainty and anxiety, there is One who loves you and has already overcome the issues of this world. Placing your trust in Christ does not remove the circumstance you face, but it gives you peace and a purpose in the midst of chaos.

Praying for those who are impacted by this disease and for those in authority over us to have the wisdom and knowledge to deal effectively with this virus. We will come through this and hopefully, will be stronger and wiser as a result. Stay safe my friends and use your common sense.

Just stating the facts friend.......spend five months in a pediatric cancer ward and watch children die......then explain to me how benevolent your god is.......the first thing religious folks do when they find out you don't agree with their premise is to threaten you with eternal damnation.......I don't believe in your hell either.....

Sex. Everybody is going to die either from Covid 19 or global warming in 12 years. No need to bring any more children into the world when they are just going to die. Sarcasm end.

Why didn't you heal them, awf? You or your "benevolent god" ...?

Did you ever consider asking God to heal them? I'm guessing not. You don't believe, so you wouldn't ask. So how is it God's fault that anyone gets cancer? How would it be God's fault that they died from it?

God is not a sugar daddy that you can just go to for money and healing when it suits. Heck I don't know any good fathers that stand for their children treating them like they're only an ATM. It's a relationship. It's something you choose not to have, so stop transferring that anger. If you don't believe in God, you better step up your game to fill that void.

Our collective lifestyles are what have given kids and adults cancer. When we found out what radiation, pollution, and nuclear energy have done to us and to this planet, what did we do to actually change it? Unless you're sitting at a computer in a library to post on this site, you've contributed to the diseases and deaths in this world, as we all have.

You probably know your role in all of this, so don't go blaming God for your choices. We have all made them. We just don't all blame others for the consequences

my fellow blue blooded friend I won’t threaten you with anything - Gods people have done and still do some pretty awful things - along with many a great one - but I don’t hate non believers . Sorry you got burnt , it happens but like my wife says - you can’t believe in God without acknowledging Satan . Both are real . Take care and don’t get the Corona !!

Can I answer with a question for everyone?
How about banning visiting people in the hospital? Seriously, I am asking your opinions.

I have a good friend who is in UL hospital. The same hospital that is testing for this virus. I am well over the age they are telling us to be extra careful. My wife is not only in that age bracket, but has a underlying health issue that puts her at even more risk.
The last thing I want to do is bring something into my house that could really hurt her.
My friend has been in isolation for a week. No explanation from the doctors yet what he has/had.
Would you go up there if you were me?
Tough decision for me.
They have at my wife’s hospital, except for limited circumstances.
