Bumper Pool is a linebacker for Arkansas.

George Costanza wanted to name his kid Seven.

Fennis Dembo was a basketball player with the Detroit Pistons. He had a twin sister named Fenise. They were the 11th and 12th children of their mother. Fenise was to the last child in the family, and one of the older sisters suggested the french word Finis - meaning Finished. So, she is Fenise.

So....there's all that.

Teaching in Baltimore I’ve seen some crazy names, many with hyphens or apostrophes. B’frandis is one I liked and twin boys named Morris and Norris who had the last name Torris. I would say I’ve seen every possible version of J’sean, jayshawn, jasean, jayshon too.

In complete seriousness, I have had two students have younger siblings named Seven. One was a twin with the other named Six. The twins were the third and fourth children in the family.

I played golf with a guy whose last name was Louise and he married a woman named Louise, hence her name became Louise Louise.

My favorite ever was Lincoln Longstaff III. He was born over a hundred years ago so the original Lincoln Longstaff was really old shool.

I laughed out loud, literally, in a social work class when the professor mentioned the Woodcock Johnson test for cognitive ability. The whole class (probably 20 women and me in class) looked at me and I just said, “Come on, are we all too adult to acknowledge that?”

the best one I've seen was a restaurant employee named Salvatore Minella.

The owner would make his paycheck payable to ....Sal Minella
