SC can change the narrative of this team by a lot against LSU. Beating a ranked team and starting 3-0 is huge in recruiting. We’re still in on some studs that would love to see us dominate on both sides of the ball. I watched LSU and their defense isn’t good and their offense is too relying on the pass game. Shane can make a statement and I think we have enough to do it.

No pressure, but this game is critical for setting the momentum for the season.
I agree. This can be a really good season if we can take care of business against a beatable team.
Winning is probably asking a bit much. I know we’re all feeling a bit heady after the win over UK, but if UK represented a moderate increase in difficulty over ODU, LSU represents a massive leap in difficulty over UK.
I just hope we represent ourselves well. Obviously a win would be phenomenal, but we are 9 point dogs at home. If we don’t win, I hope we at least play respectably and look like we belong.

I’m not so sure how good LSU is. I thought their offense looked pretty good against Southern Cal (didn‘t watch the whole game), they apparently struggled to run the ball against Nichols. Defense is probably better than last year but are they better than Kentucky? Kentucky was supposed to have one of the top defenses in the league this year according to many.

2. Sellers repeat that calmness against Louisiana State that he demonstrated against Kentucky? I thought Sellers did really well for his first road game against Kentucky
3. Connect with Jared Brown for a deep pass reception for a huge play? Seems like Jared Brown miss a few big-time plays against Old Dominion.

UK will have one of the best front 7s we will face all season. LSU isn’t an elite team that can’t be beaten.
Nussmeier will present a far stiffer challenge for our D than Vandagriff. He's not gonna get rattled and fall apart like Vandagriff did.
