Man NASCAR has ruined short track racing with this next gen car. Then they keep blaming Goodyear and saying it's the tire.
Would Daytona/Talladega ever get consideration for the rotation of the Championship race? Talladega has the 2nd race in the final round before the Championship 4. Push Martinsville back a week in the future? Talk about absolute chaos that would be. Boys have at it after the race.

Two commercial breaks with less than 20 to go, and a side by side under 10 laps.
Both of those drivers need to be parked for several races or the year for that stunt.
Not to mention going split screen with 15 laps to go showing the 21st and 22nd place cars. As well as advertising around the rest of the screen. Made my 65 inch TV viewing of the race to about 15 inch screen. Who gives a **** about what Riley Herbst and Denny Hamlin are doing toward the end of the field. They was not even in the main pack of racers. Talk about that maybe with 50/75 laps to go. Final 15 laps or so, only show the guys running in the main pack / leaders. NASCAR has gotten unwatchable. Between the ****** racing, terrible announcers, commercials every 5/10 laps, and horrible Gen cars, I can't watch it.
On a different note, Kyle Bush made a ROOKIE mistake speeding on pit road when he made his last stop. Run in the top 10 all day (other than when he got spun out) and had a chance to win and he speeds coming down pit road. Having said that, if that would have been one of the golden boys of NASCAR, with 20 to go, they would not have enforced it against the select few. (ANY Hendrick car or Chase Elliot). Absolutely despise todays NASCAR, if they do not make changes, the sport will die.

Burton in the #51 should be permanent and brings his own sponsorship with DEX Imaging instead of sonny boy Cody Ware. They still have sponsorship on that car from when Newman drove it with Parts Plus 2 years ago. Ware=wrecked race car nearly every damn week. 9 out of 11 finishes 30th or worst.
Logano crying about someone driving him the same way he has won multiple races is hilarious.
That was exactly what I thought when he was whining. He will wreck anyone on the track for a win but expects everyone to drive him clean.
I don't care for Logano. I'm not sure many do outside of the Northeast. I do like the other two Penske Drivers Blaney & Cindric. Logano has crashed both of those guys, his teammates, while they looked headed for victory in races earlier this year.
I didn't see the Post Race interview on the Broadcast but I found this one and thought his response was OK. Like he accepted it as "it is what it is"

I thought Keslowski's interview was interesting. I get the vibe that the Drivers don't really care for North Wlkesboro (my interpretation) and I also think it's hilarious when Drivers complain about Road Courses.. The ones that usually complain about them are the ones that are terrible at them.
I took his comments more how they don't care about the rovals. I agree with his assessment here. Ditch rovals. If NASCAR wants road courses so bad, there are multiple venues, plus street courses in Chicago, Indy has done Nashville. Both Brad K and Elliott said in the postrace that North Wilkesboro should get a points race. Brad suggests taking the roval off, and do the regular Charlotte oval again.
I haven't been a lifetime Nascar enthusiast, I guess you could say I've gradually picked up an interest over time. The main thing that got me interested was Road Races. Always loved when they had a good group of the "Road Course Ringers." I live near Austin so I typically go to COTA each year for the Nascar Race.
With that being said, does anyone like the Rovals? If I remember correctly I believe I've seen them at Charlotte and Daytona. It seems silly to take away two exciting races at those Speedways for a manufactured Road Coarse Race. It's a fine experience for me to sit in my living room and watch a televised race on the Roval but I'm curious how the experience is in person. Probably not so great so I guess I agree as well. If someone is Pro-Roval I would love to hear your perspective.
The All Star Race was the last of the year for Fox. Personally that's fine with me even though I think Harvick is pretty good. Prime Video is next followed by TNT, USA the NBC. Looking forward to the 600 at Charlotte this weekend. That's always a good one.
I agree. COTA is a beautiful facility and that is one road course I actually want on the schedule. You know when F1 is involved, their facilities are top notch. Rovals not so much. They did the Indy, Daytona roval during Covid times and Charlotte now for a number of years. It was a mistake to even think about removing the Brickyard for a few years for the Indy Roval.
Some of those road course ringers were fun to watch come over like Boris Said and Ron Fellows. I remember some at one point were calling Terry Labonte a ringer after he retired from full-time racing. He would come back to drive at the road courses, super speedways, and nearly pulled off an upset in the #96 DLP car. He was leading quite a bit at Sonoma in 2006, even late into the race but eventually Gordon and Newman passed him up. Finished 3rd. It was a fun race. My Father was a huge Labonte fan and I remember telling him he should hurry up and come watch the end of that race when Terry was still out front.
Looking forward to hearing Dale Jr. in the booth again and Carl Edwards joining Prime as an analyst. Wish he would have gotten back in a car at a practice session for Larson last weekend like Harvick did last year. Jr. says driving the Next Gen car helps when providing accurate analysis from the booth. Seeing him just for a practice would have been cool.
Last year I was fortunate enough to be a guest of Red Bull for MotoGP weekend at COTA. What a blast that was but for the Nascar Race it's much better to be out of the suites and into the first turn Grandstand. My 82 year old dad visited from Kentucky and joined me for the race this year.
Road Races for now should be COTA, Sonoma and Watkins Glen but I have always thought that if they built a Road Course outside of Denver with the Rockies as a backdrop that would be awesome. If they ever do it I hope that Boris Said will put on that No Fear - 7/11 Slurpee firesuit one more time
That sounds like an awesome weekend last year at COTA with Red Bull. I would want turn 1 seats too with all of the action, especially on the restarts. Is there a pretty good view of the finish line from there? I like those 3 road courses. Gotten used to Sonoma, Watkins Glen throughout the summer and COTA is top notch. Wish NASCAR had it on the schedule 10 years ago when I lived in San Antonio. The Rockies would be a good backdrop for a road course. NASCAR and Indy used to go to Pikes Peak in Fountain, CO and the mountains could be see from the distance in turns 3 and 4. A course around Denve closer though would be a better setting for the mountains. NASCAR in the 90s used to do these Japan exhibition races on a road course after the season. I'm not a fan of rovals at all and to be honest don't care for road courses either. I hate that one small mistake on pit road can put you in the back and with track position at a premium in most cases your day is probably done unless some odd pit strategy and cautions can fall your way. I have always favored short tracks and super speedways but the next gen car has made both of those types of racing hard to watch because nobody can pass.
