Since he is participating in select races, saw where Zane Smith has been in communication with them as a candidate to drive in the other races. Daniel Hemric is taking over Justin Haley's ride.
Well, this is not really news. But merely a reminder that Danica Patrick is a human piece of garbage.

Absolutely. It's one of those times where if you have nothing nice to say, just don't say anything at all. None of her business to begin with and the timing of it is very cruel.

I guess I’m just glad the eulogy I gave at my Mom’s funeral wasn’t available for public scrutiny on the internet. The only way I was going to get through it was to type it out on an iPad, detach myself from the entire situation and just read it. So that’s what I did. I didn’t cry. Because I knew if I ever started, I wouldn’t be able to finish reading it. I’ll bet Danica wouldn’t have liked that either.
He did a darn fine job in doing so.
I thought I read the other day he planned to drive a few more years until Brexton turned 16 and could start driving a truck. Then he would retire and just do a few races for his team and focus on Brexton's career.

It would not surprise me if he starts one like David Gilliland for Todd to race in or rejoin another organization as a part-owner to make it happen. Thought he mentioned in the past splitting a ride doing the races Brexton can't down the road IIRC. Certain sponsors of races won't let underage kids drive in them and remember this being the case with Kyle coming up.

More excited about the return of the Brickyard 400 but this is better than rovals. It has been reported that the Charlotte Roval is going away in 2024.

NASCAR's media rights deal expire after 2024. Who knows if another network like ESPN or Turner Sports picks up races again though streaming platforms will likely be a huge part of the deal in the future. That said, it would be nice to see the networks work together to maybe trade a race on the schedule so you don't have that 2 week break in the middle of the summer without a race. Break up the off weeks. Perhaps give NBC the All-Star Race since FOX gets the Clash, all of Speed Weeks and the Daytona 500 every year. NBC & FOX used to swap the Daytona 500/Pepsi 400 every other year. During 2020, NBC took over their portion of the schedule but still had FOX come on later in the year for the races to be made up from the shutdown.
