Could be a high scoring game. Sounds like ku and ksu ran on Utah. Utah likes to run and we can't stop the run

In full disclosure, I haven't paid much attention to Utah this year. But I've always regarded them as being well coached and doing a lot more (always being fairly competitive), with a lot less.

Broadway is pretty fun. My wife always gets mad at me when we go there because the bars do not close until 3:00 am (That is only 1:00 pm on my West Coast body clock). Her dad grew up on a hardscrabble farm outside a tiny town, McEwen, about 55 miles west of Nashville, so I have seen Nashville change a lot in the last 25 years. When her father was growing up in the late thirties, forties and early fifties, he never had two nickels to rub together. His family was still using horses to farm after WWII. Now all these years later the land, still in the family, owned by my wife's cousins is worth some money because of Nashville's growth. Her dad should have never sold his share to his twin brother.

Unfortunately its turning into a hellhole.

I actually think a matchup with LSU would be a lot of fun. They are a bit in flux right now and Nussmeier very likely would opt out. We'd have a month to test out a 4-3 front as our base and hopefully the new DC will be onboard beforehand.
Do we want Nussmeier to opt out? I think he was a major part of the problem down in the Red Stick this year. Didn't the interim coach bench him?

While I would love a 12:30 kickoff in Vegas on New Years Eve (even though I would have to give up my VGK tickets at the same hour), I suspect it will be 12/30 in Nashville.

If NU is matched up with Utah in Las Vegas, this is a terrible match up for the Huskers. Utah is a team that scores a ton of points, is argueably the top rushing team in the country. They have a couple of All-American type OL who may or can opt out, if that's the case that will slow them down.

However, with DR out, and TJ still shelved with what could be a lingering hamstring issue, the QB spot will be uncertain, add to that Rocco is missing the bowl for hand surgery and will be replaced in his spot with Corcoran, so that's a definite downgrade at that spot.

IF, Pritchett decides to declare for the draft and EJ also declares, this will be an NU offense that is gonna lack much punch. It's a recipe for a total a*s whipping.

Maybe Corcoran will opt out to get ready for the combine. One can dream. We couldn't do worse
