My heart got broke tonight. Hard to watch our girls cry after that game. We led the entire game. With it looking like it was over, suddenly, 4 of the most incredibly ****** calls by a High School ref in hs history got Kinston back into it and forced Overtime. And yes, I’m talking horrible. Like, I wanna go out on the court type horrible. We lost in overtime, our girls played SO damn tough ! I could NOT be prouder. So horrible they had to go out in that situation. They left it all out there. GREAT GAME AND SEASON LADY COUGARS! YOU ROCK !
I was proud that several Kinston supporters came and found me after the game and said how tough Natalie played. It was cool to see Brandon Ingram on the walls in there.
Them Shelby Golden Lions. Look out. They absolutely own NC football championships. Grew up in the Shelby, Forest City area.
Our only state championship in football faced Shelby western finals. I think they are stilled pissed about losing that game. They are good in every sport and it will be a tough game Tuesday. Starting five seniors may help us.

Oh I bet. It's not often they lose at all. Just a dominant team year after year. It should be a good game. Shelby starts 3 seniors and 2 juniors.
My goodness man, that career, that GPA, that commitment to serve her Country! What else can parents ask for at that age? A true blessing man that your wife, yourself, and especially Natalie should be extremely proud of. Job well-done buddy.
Good game man you guys put up. Them Lions are a tough out. It's something they breed in the water in Cleveland County lol.
That point guard for Shelby got super hot end of third quarter. He was hitting shots two steps behind the 3 point line. Good luck and it would be awsome to win it football and basketball.
Wow, did the same thing to Crest this year. You know most of the team play on the football team as well. I'm going to have to see where the next game is. They have #1 Forest Hill on the 7th in the Regional Final Four.

The high school that I went to (South Granville) plays FarmVille Central in the boys 2A Eastern Regional Final Saturday at 6pm at ECU. They beat Reidsville in the Eastern Regional Semifinal last night. The game was actually Tuesday or Wednesday night but the game was suspended with 19 seconds left in the 4th quarter Tuesday night because of a fight that broke out between fans, so the game was finished yesterday evening with just the two teams, coaches and officials. FarmVille Central beat Kinston in the other Eastern Regional Semifinal.

The boys team from my high school (South Granville) lost to FarmVille Central in the Eastern Regional Finals yesterday. If they had won they would be playing your Shelby boys team in the State Championship game on the 14th.
Yes it is. Ironically we won the Eastern Regional Semifinal by 3 points then lost in the Eastern Regional Final by 3 points.
