It has been nearly eight months since Bruce abruptly left the program to return home to Harrisburg. He finally opened up with PennLive about why that happened and what he hopes is next for him.

Probably a combination of dropping out before concluding the semester and not training for 4 months. Just my guess. I don't think he'd have to go for 2 years though. However, his eligibility clock has begun.

Life can be tough at 18. Glad to see he's reconsidering playing. It could be something he regrets the rest of his life if he doesn't.

I'm sure PSU directed him to Lackawana as a pipeline has developed there. He'll be back if he does well.

I am sure that Penn State has a great support program to help him land on his feet on campus. Academic, life, etc. Let him work without the pressure of when he is ready.

He's actually signing with Lackawanna.
