The comments in this chat between Nate, Marcus, and Conner sure make it sound like Nate to 141 is a long term thing. At least it sounds like he doesn’t plan to go back down to 125 unless the coaches need him to.

Almost certain he won't go back to 125 this season. Per Flo he weighed in last Saturday at 137.5 pounds which means his descent plan would take 8 weeks per the rules which takes him to at least tOSU dual so that is not happening this season. He is a true frosh so 141 for next season sounds like a plan. Depends on how much he grows plus where Ono, Blaze, Davis, and Nagao end up. Quite a log jam for us at the lower weights. Great problem to have since anyone of those 4 will be a great option at either 133 or 141.

Agreed...that's what it sounded like to me. Personally, if the weight cut to 125 is that tough, I'm glad he's going141 to fill an immediate team need. And if he can't get back down, so be it. Not worth compromising his health even if the team needs it.
ok Corby here you go 1 yr in Nam got cancer from agent orange now terminal been fightin it a few yrs now chemo is keeping me alive and I am doing well but we all know how that goes I will be here as long as I can fight this thing.I hope to see my 3 grandsons in high school grad and after that will I will just keep fightin day after day and hoping for the best.I am 75 now way past where I thought I would be but my life has been great no regrets!
