Apparently he’s going to come back to wrestling and intends on enrolling at Navy.
That's not true . Could he be back yes. Will it be Navy maybe but probably not. He will be done with his service in a year and could go anywhere and have all his eligibility. The good thing is he's been back on the mat and hasn't missed a step and is starting to love the sport againApparently he’s going to come back to wrestling and intends on enrolling at Navy.
any chance back to iowa? That's not true . Could he be back yes. Will it be Navy maybe but probably not. He will be done with his service in a year and could go anywhere and have all his eligibility. Am i crazy or did he not graduate in 2023? Probably enlisted in the summer time though I have no clue. Either way, he would have 2 years left on a 4 year and 4 years on a 6 year contract. All that said, I'd enjoy him getting back into it and will be cautiously hopeful. That's not true . Could he be back yes. Will it be Navy maybe but probably not. I was just asking about him the other day talking with a guy on Facebook who knows the family (he didn't know any updates). That's not true . Could he be back yes. HOLY SMOKES!! Get this kid at IOWA AT ALL COSTS! He can fit perfectly next year at 133!That's not true . Could he be back yes. Will it be Navy maybe but probably not. Could he still remotely make 133 after being on full feed for several years in the Navy?? IDK.HOLY SMOKES!! Get this kid at IOWA AT ALL COSTS! He can fit perfectly next year at 133!
I would be shocked if we aren’t ALL IN on getting him again, he can roll with anyone when he is clicking on all cylinders. Big fan of Nate!
IDK, what was and what is are two different things. I would not stop recruiting the current crop thinking I had a sure thing with Nate even if he showed up at the practice facility tomorrow. There's a more than decent chance he can't get to a weight he could be effective at and also a good chance the skills have diminished significantly.I would honestly chose Nate over any prospect of 133/141. Really hoping we can bring him back on board. Hopefully the coaches know these details and on full steam ahead on recruiting him! Imagine Leo DeLuca and Nate Jesuroga for the next 4 years!

Recruit them all. A stable with DeLuca, Jesuroga, and Kennys for the lightweights would be dangerous.IDK, what was and what is are two different things. Wrestling at the Naval Academy is exactly what he said because being an Officer is a goal. Now getting into and staying in the Naval Academy academically may be another issue. That's not true . He has to get accepted to the Academy (not easy); being an athlete helps his chances. He may have to go to a Juco for a year but he's going to the Naval academy.
He'll be wrestling at the Luther Open at...165. Not cutting weight. He'll be a 149-157 at Navy.

Not quite the Lee and Desanto 1-2 punch but still very good.I would honestly chose Nate over any prospect of 133/141. Really hoping we can bring him back on board. Antarctica.Well where were you 4 months ago???
Beautiful country.Antarctica.
And the Antarcticans are wonderful peopleBeautiful country.
When he did an interview his senior year around the time of state, he had already ballooned up to 160. We will need a 165 next year, but not at 5 ft 3.Could he still remotely make 133 after being on full feed for several years in the Navy?? IDK.
Or get to an effective weight and feel burnt out again and quitIDK, what was and what is are two different things. They are friendly and some of the greatest Hawk wrestling fans you will ever meet. It's a sea of black and gold up there. And the Antarcticans are wonderful people
Any legs or probability that Iowa is interested? Or is there mutual interest in him coming over? Or has that ship sailed?About 4 months late with this “news”…![]()

AntarcticersAntarciagons.
We’ll have one.Any legs or probability that Iowa is interested? Or is there mutual interest in him coming over? Or has that ship sailed?
We are going to need a 133/141 in the future..
Appreciate the response, hoping it’s a Kenny, Bachmann, or Nate Jesuroga; but it would be great to have a plethora of talent and have multiple. We’ll have one.

Brock Hardy did a 2 year Mormon mission before Nebraska I believe - obviously you dont want to bank on it wrokign with Nate, but its not unprecedentedIDK, what was and what is are two different things. Iistened, and all his plans revolve around the military still. Nate admitted he’s never been into school/academics, but then causally thinks he can just transfer into an academy from being enlisted. Did admit he has to take an SAT. His communication skills are terrible, so I hope getting accepted doesn’t involve an interview. I remember everyone on here saying he was going to kick *** in the seal program, but he admitted they broke him immediately and he quit the first week. Who thinks they are going to be a seal with poor swimming skills. You have to be a fish. The kid still seems lost and unrealistic about things. I can see why he wouldn’t have been worried about throwing a free college education down the drain, so kids just are not college material . If he’s serious about getting into college wrestling he should talk to North Dakota state. They have a shared program with the local junior college where kids can take some college classes, but it ultimately leads to kids graduating with a trade. They can still be on North Dakota athletic teams. Good deal. Not quite to say the least.
You might be wise to listen to the interview and read the thread
