I don't know half of the people listed in the title of these RIP threads. I just post a pic of the first famous-ish person that comes to mind who has a similar name.
I thought that was the whole point of these shenanigans...to act like you read the name wrong. No?
I just feel like my effort won't be as clever with trying to come up with the wrong guy if I don't know any of their background. Just look at the King Kong Bundy one. If I didn't know he was a wrestler or didn't know much about wrestling I wouldn't have made the connection to Gorilla Monsoon. That tied into Harambe the Gorilla. Kind of like a 6 Degrees of Separation.
Besides, if you don't start the thread or get in early, it limits the quality selections tremendously and a little extra knowledge could still keep you in the game.
