What do y'all think will actually happen? Who's wins and what's the final..

In my heart of hearts I believe Carolina wins, not because they're "better" but because that's just how things tend to work out.. If it weren't Carolina and it was a nameless team and nova beat OU like they did Saturday I'd go with 'Nova and say that the other team won't be able to win with the lack of a three point threat. None the less it's that tar holes and they continue to get preferential treatment from the zebras and I don't expect different tonight..

Cryolina- 85
Nova-77
Also the helms title dissapeares again since they have 6 titles and ahead of us for real.. If we win it next year they will magically have 7

My bet is that the Cheaters have been throwing down Adderall tablets like Skittles and they will play out of their minds tonight. But I expect a close game!

I'm calling it:

Nova - 82
UNC - 76

The tournament is about who is hot at the right time. Nova has been shooting lights out and playing tough team defense. I think the muscle UNC and don't back down when UNC makes there runs. I also think the pressure is all on Roy (see his presser after the cuse game) and I think he cracks.

As bad as I hate to admit it, I think the cheaters will win by double digits.

I don't think UNC has gotten preferential treatment from the refs so far. They've basically bulldozed the competition along the way. So have the Wildcats. This could be a really good game. If it's a blowout (12+ or so) then I think UNC wins.

For as well as 'Nova played Saturday night they did one thing poorly....they allowed Oklahoma to get something like 19 offensive rebounds. If we see a repeat of that tonight then I don't care if the Wildcats shoot 60% again....they're going to lose. 'Nova likes to set-up pressure defensively on the perimeter. It's not actually a bad plan. We were hardly a great defensive team and were able to rattle UNC a bit in both our games against them.

On the UNC side of things it's been very easy for them to this point. Now, they haven't played the competition Villanova has, but that's not their fault. The team's they have played, save that 12-0 second half run for ND that gave the Irish a brief lead, they've handled with little resistance. The Heels are hard to stop and score so easily....almost beating you down in the process. If they hit a few outside shots then I'm not sure there's anything 'Nova can do to stop them.

In the end, I think this board faces disappointment tonight....but I do expect a decent game for the first 30-35 minutes. It may appear I'm underselling 'Nova a bit, which is entirely possible, but I feel UNC is clicking and this year it's just their destiny. I hope like hell I'm wrong, though.

Don't see it as high scoring as some other predictions, if Nova's defense comes to play. That said:

Nova: 66

I expect a replay of the 2005 championship game, this time with guys that actually go to class at UNC. Think it will be a great game and UNC will come out on top. That being said, I have been wrong about the Wildcats all year and didn't give them a chance against against Kansas and OU. Like DukieJay said, they got hammered on the boards, but still won. There are a few paths to a Wildcat victory, one of them and involves some foul trouble for UNC. I can still hope.

I think if it's close, 'Nova has a potential advantage. But, I think it will be UNC by 12 or 15. Probably a couple of close moments early in the 2nd half, but t.

CBB is all about match-ups. And, 'Nova just doesn't match up well with UNC. Could they pull the upset? Yes. But, it will take something extra special.

I predict UNC wins by double digits, followed by a harsh "TAKE THAT NCAA" speech by Huckleberry. 3 weeks later , the NCAA publicly apologizes for inconveniencing UNC with their pesky investigations and admits that UNC academics were found to be far superior to even the top universities. ESPN builds a bronze statue outside their studio with all unc coaches, past and present to show the sports world that we should ALL adhere to and admire......"The Carolina Way."

Yes, and the NCAA turns their attention to Yale. I mean, something had to be fishy about that season.

I will guarantee you that Unx will not be in any sort of foul trouble. That ain't happening.

UNC has controlled their games and looked good, but I don't think there is any question Villanova has looked better. They have more impressive results against more impressive competition.

I do think UNC wins because they get more easy looks because of their great size, and because a 70% shooting day will inevitability be followed by a let down. Against the Heels, Villanova will miss two dozen good looks.

Nova's shotmaking regresses to the mean, UNC's doesn't. I don't see Carolina losing, maybe because they haven't really been challenged yet.

I take home $500 from my bracket if UNC wins, but that doesn't come close to affecting how I will cheer tonight. However, drying my tears off those Benjamins won't be a terrible consolation.

I never pick the holes to win in my brackets. That way I won't ever be in a situation where I would have to root for them in any way. I will sacrifice being right with no regrets. It's not worth $500 to me for them to win the championship. It makes my stomach hurt just thinking about them winning tonight.

I'm actually going to go with Villanova.

A couple big threes and some great defense will separate them (God I Hope!!)

Teams that are physical and play tough man 2 man give unc problems. Presser there guards and contain offense rebounds. Seems like there best offense in the tourney is shot bricks and make put backs. Hoping for the upset similar to Nova over Grown back in the day.

Agree just seems like the stars have aligned themselves for cheaters. I went ahead and prepared for a hole victory so I'm not as disappointed but if Nova finds a way I will run through the neighborhood butt azz naked in joy and jubilation but I still feel I won't have to worry bout that. The cheaters are playing the best I've seen them play in years.

The ridiculous thing is I have lived in NC my whole life and I have been listening to local sports "so called" analysts in the area saying this is the best UNC team since the 57 team. Even rating them higher than the 82 team. That's how ridiculous it is in our state right now. Hole fans have rolled out of every crack and cre is over the weekend since Kansas got beat. They already have the title locked up. Championship parties lined up everywhere. God Nova be a spoiler.

I'm just hoping Nova will be within 6 points during that last tv timeout. If that's the case and Roy has to make some late game decisions, then I think Nova wins 72-70. If it's a blowout, UNX wins 86-68.

It's not worth it for me either. There is no part of me that will cheer for Carolina tonight, not even a little bit. We would have to be talking about life-changing money there. Betting only changes my allegiances with teams I don't care about

I hear from some unc fans that I should be pulling for the heels just from the point they represent the ACC. Poop on that. They don't represent anything for me. If things were reversed and they said they were pulling for Duke I would question their tar heel loyalty. In fact I wouldn't want them to pull for Duke. It would be abnormal. OFC
