You don’t think folks that haven’t before watched wrestling subscribed to Flo just to check out what all the hype is about on a football weekend?
If that was the lone criterion for holding a college wrestling event (dual meet or tournament(), there would be maybe five (or fewer) wrestling events per season.

Facundo got rode out in the second by #3 Simon Ruiz, who wins 2-0. No takedowns but not close takedowns either.

Facundo with the same issues as before. Couldn’t get off bottom and not a ton of offense. Had trouble getting in on Ruiz. Ruiz is a stud though. I think he’s 2nd behind Levi
America needs more people like Shane Sparks. Relentlessly positive, full of information. The consummate pro.

For all the hype around the young 184s, Angelo is gonna make this weight a tough watch each time he hits another top guy. Really brings it down for me.
Agreed. He is no doubt an elite wrestler but I hate his style. Not fun to watch
That was an incredible scramble though. Sinclair looked dead to rights and then I thought Sinclair was absolutely going to get the td. Great defense by both guys
Because it's on Flo, and Flo is never going to grow Wrestling. Sunday on ESPN2 could possibly grow the sport, but non wrestling fans are not buying Flo to watch wrestling.
What will be more fun is to compare the winner of this event to their relative standing, point wise, at the close of the NCAA Championship.
