It’s pretty clear a lot of guys don't have their legs yet. Brands made it clear they are there for a payday and they will walk away with money. It’s embarrassing but in the big picture, does not mean a whole lot.

Yeah but $200,000 vs $150,000 is a lot of money as they all should be taking it seriously

I hate to admit it, but Drake really missed their shot at a title the past two years. 133 is much tougher this year with Crookham back from injury and Davino and Blaze now in the mix.
He blew it vs figs a couple years ago. That match was his and he played right into figs hand to find a way to lose. I think Byrd is just better. 133 is a great weight this year in general. Byrd, davino, blaze, crookham, Ayala.. that's a tough top 5

149: Ryder Block vs. Ethan Stiles

Period 1: Dancing for the first 45 seconds. Block darts in on a single. Stiles immediately dives for the ankle, and it's a stalemate.

Block shoots, but nothing there. WE're on the edge, but BLock circles back in. Half shots from Block. No real attempts from Stiles yet.

Block reattacks off a half shot, and he's in deep again. He tries to send Stiles right to his back, but Stiles gets a leg. NOw Stiles is inposition to score, but Block pulls him thru, and nearly scores at the end. Block is bringing most of the action right now. 0-0 after 1.

So we're only here for the money? OSU is here to kick A$$ at wrestling.

149: Ryder Block vs. Ethan Stiles

Period 2: Stiles chooses down. He's up and BLock returns him 3 different times. Then then they go OOB.

On the restart, two more returns for Block. Stiles up again and Block takes him OOB.

REstart, and Block is breaking him down flat. Block riding hard. They're near the edge. They're giving 1, but I don't think he was out. They review it themselves and wipe the call. ON the restart two more mat returns, and Block is looking for wrists. Stiles dives under, and for some reason they don't count backs. Brands explodes. They're in a weird scramble, and that looks dangerous to Blocks' legs. THey let it go for awhile, then suddenly blow it dead, even though nothing changed. Now on the restartStiles tries for a reversal again, but time runs out. He tried to grab Block's ankles.

0-0 after 2 with 2:00 RT for BLock.

149: Ryder Block vs. Ethan Stiles

Block down and out quickly. Stiles finds his way to a single, and Ryder tries to dive out. Stiles collects the other ankle and finishes on the edge. Block also picks up a stall for purposely touching the carpet to get a restart. Stiles needs to ride out or it's tied due to RT. They're scrambling, and Stiles is not really trying to do anything other than hang on, but he's got the stall calls to burn. Ironically, they never call him for any, but it wouldn't matter. Block was never close to an escape. 3-2 Stiles wins with RT.

Why on earth would you step over and put both legs right in front of him. He was in GREAT position right before that........
